@@hosermcmoose a baguette is the gem in this context, and by "ice" he's talking about diamonds so he's saying he has a gems in his diamond jewelry the song is defintely overrated but it's not terrible
Metalheads React To Hip Hop you deserve much more credit than you guys get, you actually have a system of how to rate the songs in a really nice compact way and you have an open mind when it comes to it, just a lot of rap these days is garbage, used to love drake till about 3 or 4 years back he just lost his spark for it, listen to roaches by maxo kream he has got great story telling ability keep doing you guys! ✌️
Few minutes in and to your question I think many people are just sensitive snowflakes that can’t take uncensored/unsoftened criticism. Edit: I don’t have a problem with how you guys react, keep up the great videos!
Man, the first intro to music I had was heavy metal, and I latched on to it. Music, Thrash, specifically, was my life. Then in my early 20s, i heard NWA and Wu-Tang Clan... at first i thought, it was horrible... stupid... fake. The more I listened, the more I understood Hip-hop... Hip-hop is all about double entendres, and "tounge-in-cheek" lyrics/metaphores, supported by a heavy, bass-driven "beat", and... I fucking love it, so much. It hurts me to see metalheads cringe, and laugh, at Hip-Hop, because they remind me of old, close-minded people, who cringed and laughed at heavy, speedy, thrash metal music. I still love your reaction, but I feel like you need someone to guide you through the world of Hip-Hop. Someone to point out things you might have missed, because it is the only way you will understand, and begin to appreciate, Hip-Hop. I wish nothing but love and peace upon you dudes :)
Bro as someone who is young myself it’s completely valid to say these songs are lazy and have no meaning: they don’t. I only ever listen to them if I want to hear the production, not the performers or lyrics who could be done by anyone else and it’d be the same. They rarely say anything that’s not self-centred and when they do it’s rarely something that adds much to any conversation. You can only try to praise metaphors about the same 14 yo boy topics until it’s plain boring
I know you guys kind of hate this kind of thing, and I’m not hating because I understand the confusion, but the remmy papoose line was a double entendre.
I dont much care for travis Scott much but with that said my son somehow got me to take him and his friends to a rap music festival in Austin TX with Travis Scott as the headliner. This will be my first live rap show I have ever went to. So help me lol
Gabriel Montoya awesome on you for taking your kid! Live music in any format is important for people to see. I encourage everyone to see as much live music as possible, be it metal or hip hop or anything else.
I love seeing your take on popular songs. You guys know your stuff when it comes to music and I definitely respect that. I'd love to hear what you guys think of the song Rainy Days by Boogie ft Eminem. Boogie just got signed to Eminem's record label and this is kinda his freshman single.
You guys are fucking hilarious. Love seeing your perspective. You guys should listen to something by the migos, you'll hate it but it'll be entertaining.
The Lavender Eyes no they won’t they will leave a comment bitching and move on with their lives. Maybe YOU cry over their opinions but most others aren’t as sensitive as you. You are projecting as most of the “anti pc police” do. You realize bitching about people’s bitching makes you no different right? I’m doing it now but at least I’m self aware. Welcome to the internet
We are both too busy to do daily videos. So until we get way more support and subs it’s not feasible for us at this time. Thanks for the love though! 🙌
These introductions get better every video... I feel ya Chris I don't like Drake either and I'm Canadian! 😁 React to Yelawolf, Bloody Sunday please! 🤘🏻
This the reason why rap is popular nowadays, people don't wanna listen to lyrics no more. If the beat slaps but the lyrics are problematic, they'd still jam to it. Great reaction though. Btw, I'm still hoping for you to react to Ill Mind of Hopsin 5
Guy on the left, lose the beard and wear glasses and people will like you more. bruh when i heard drakes verse for the first time i was pissed he was braggin about taking half a xan lmaoo
Hey to answer your question about why you on the left is getting most of the "hate". And please actually think about this because this is exactly why your getting hate. Your tone... it's all tone. Your very condescending and a bit pretentious when talking about music that your audience knows more about. They know this stuff and understand the nuances of this music much more than you, and yet you tend to ignore that and even insult the people who like you, all for what seems like a desire to be smarter than them. They don't care if you don't like the song they like. They care about you acting as if your taste in music is superior than theirs when it's not. It's just your opinion. Give your audience more credit. They aren't singling you out fir no reason. Meet them half way, and not just act like you are. I hope you see and consider this.
Also I think the guy was close with that part where he said baguettes in my ice. I think he was right when he said bread in my ice which would mean money in my jewelry.
I watched your Mona Lisa reaction and i watched pretty more reactions of yours, I didn't want to comment cuz you try to roast the commentator, but fuck it I still will. I will say that your channel is not growing cuz you guys mostly react negatively on the songs. Even the long haired dude likes many songs he heard but he agrees on Negative comments of the short haired dude, even look on his face tells he does not agree with you short hair guy. He is just doing it cuz he is your friend and he seems stuck with you on this reaction channel.
If I don’t agree w Chris I always say so. And I wouldn’t say most reactions we do are negative, I think more than half are positive. But we are just being honest about what we like and dislike. Me and Chris disagree w a lot even in metal and other forms of music we listen to. We could very easily grow the channel by just loving everything but that’s not who we are, and isn’t it fun to see what we are actually psyched about?! It should be a challenge for you guys to give us something we would love. And FYI your comment is actually thoughtful so we wouldn’t roast you! 😊
@@MetalheadsReactToHipHop thanks for replying. Man you want challenge you can react to NF Real or intro. That's Savage rapper raps bars without cursing and use orchestra type musical beats. You should probably check him out. And you guys should try to understand the mindset of the musicians cuz lyrics can be good or bad but lack or enthusiasm on reactions make it a boredom.
Well we are both musicians so yeah we do try and understand where each artist is coming from. That’s why we go deep into the analysis w our rubric. But I get the feeling you aren’t into our particular brand of reaction video and that’s fine. All the best man!
