Muscle groups worked: Shoulders, Abdominals
Starting Position
Position yourself on your side, extend one leg with the foot touching the floor, and bend the other leg with the knee on the mat. Place your ring close to you to rest your hand on it, with your arm extended.
Exercise Execution
Bring your arm along your body and look towards the sky, while pressing lightly with the other hand on the ring. Return slowly.
Tips: Duration / Repetitions
3 sets of 6 to 10 reps. Rest for 30 seconds.
Final Position
Return to the starting position.
Breathing Instructions
Inhale as you lift your arm towards the sky, exhale as you lower it.
Safety Instructions
Both knees should be in line. Keep your navel pulled in. Ensure not to arch your back or collapse onto the ring; use it as a support to help you lengthen yourself.
