A small difference but a big one for me is when you rev a car in NFS Heat, the car moves like its ready to go. In Unbound, the car doesn't move at all when you rev. Small difference but really disappointing for me.
@@Swarly-fo4yb I feel you, and you’re right you’ll never really see a car so that in person unless it’s a 2000hp muscle car on the drag strip. But it’s the little differences that make the bigger difference in my game of choice. 😎
My pick up moves left and right as I just rev ever so slightly. But my tuned VW won't move that light body, and the reason is simple. The car was made to be as comfortable as possible based on budget for the car the engine mountings and suspension are stiff in order to avoid rocking when you rev. When my mountings were giving out 2 years ago the engine and whole body would rock back and forth. Some cars rock back and forth and some don't regardless of power. Take a 1500 hp bugatti for example. You might see the engine move a bit, but the body is steady due to the stiff suspension
Bro, it's the small things that are make it and break it for me and devs these days don't obviously like the games the make or they'd understand that. It's most of these games that are almost perfect but miss a huge mark for me always! The biggest one is always character customization. Am I the only one that wants to create a character in my likness and want to be a part of a world with others and create car clubs and not just simply do quick races in it?
@@76marexDoubt there’s any reason to do so for a comparison. For example you can alter the exhaust backfire in both but if its manipulated than why would the uploader just alter backfire and stop there? Makes no sense. And to clarify again I used the backfire as an example of something that can be altered.
I have both, both are good, but it's hard to get money in Unbound and the AI seems ever more ruthless. It was also not smart for EA to not include a last gen version, it's going to hurt the total sales.
@@healthjay4253 no update can make unbound better than Heat. The city is so depressing. it’s the overall vibe is Chicago and it’s like who the hell wants to be racing in Gotham city LMAO.
I wish we could get a nfs game with races and story from Most Wanted, the drifting from Payback or Carbon, Graphics of Heat or better, the music of Underground 1&2 and again Most Wanted and Police hunts from Undercover and Heat combined that would be the best NFS game for me.
Bro, Most Wanted has no story XD. What EA has to do is come up with a good story worthy of a movie script, no NFS has a relevant story to tell, they are all boring.
Everyone's talking about the graphics or the flames, but the most annoying to me about Unbound is the way more toned down engine noises. I have to blast my headphones just to hear my engine well, but then the exhaust pops make me deaf lol. On top of that, when racing, if you're near at least one other car, their engine will be louder than your own. I like Unbound, but I loved Heat.
Tried both, I see the appeal to unbound but to me it rly feels empty😢. Map is refreshing after play a ton of heat but don’t like the amount of grind it has and also no night and day system anymore. Honestly also prefer real smoke and boost not the animated. Sticking with heat.
Unbound looks livelier, and the graphics are nicer in it. But what catches the Heat is the exhaust flame. In general, it’s difficult to judge when you haven’t played either one or the other part :) you need to test it yourself
Thats wierd u say unbound has better graphics when all my friends are telling me to get heat because it has better everything Graphics Mobility Customization And much more
It’s refreshing to see a new city and new lighting but I feel like it’s gonna be awhile until they make something as good as heat or 2015 Edit: game flopped a few months in :/
As someone who owns both and i mean i enjoy racing games especially to drag lmao. But unbound only did good bc the graphics are fire they added afew more cars with more customization options which i thought were sick as in taking of your bumper off, etc. But besides that Heat is still ontop for me
the graphics of the world and the bodywork of the car in unbound are more beautiful, but the sound and exhausts and the feeling of speed in heat are incredibly better! To be realistic, applying Unreal Engine 5 to Heat and adding some new maps would have sold better than unbound, which is not often heard about.
The world… ehh. Buildings don’t look that great, not enough litter and junk and just destructible things that make it feel more like the cities it’s trying to emulate. But yes the body of the cars look amazing. Very obvious leap forward from the already very good car models of Heat. Very clear they had an attention to detail. In fact, the guys in charge of those models need a raise!😂
If I'm going to be honest I think heat is better because in unbound when you buy an engine you can't sell it so it will be a waste of money and making you grind more money wasting time in my opinion
Heat till de end 😎 The opening song to palm city is Good And Look at the fire from heat then unbound you can see the difference very well and also rip ghost games there were the best 🤘 rip
Heat beats it by a lot of things, keep in mind people Ghost made the Game within 6-7 months while Criterion copy pasted and even made it worse in 3 years. Definitely sticking with Heat ❤️
@@Swarly-fo4yb the cartoon effects take away from that, yes the graphics are better but heat was a way more detail oriented game thus it’s more realistic than unbound
The only thing they screwed up in Heat was shadows. The shadows under cars were missing most of the time and gave the cars a very unrealistic look. If they fixed the shadows, everything else in Heat destroys Unbound.
The best thing that can be done to improve NFS is to bring a new NFS game The game map: Most Wanted(2005) + Carbon + Underground + Undercover + The run + Most wanted(2012) + Rivals + Payback + Heat (All remastered and in the game) The Customization: NFS Heat + The Crew (Garage Customization included) The Game menu: NFS Rivals + Payback TPP Vehicle Speed Camera: GTA 5 camera effect Drift Camera: Payback Nitro: NFS Rivals+ Heat Game Traffic: Assetto Corsa but better Police intelligence: NFS Rivals (Playable as a Cop). (Pursuit Tech included) (Pursuit Breakers Included) (Cool down Zones Included) (Quick Vehicle Swap Included) (FPP, SPP and TPP Vehicle Camera Included) (Flexible Racing Included) (Driver Customization) (Driver can leave his/her Vehicle) (Insane Graphics) (Realistic Wreck and Engine Sounds). This is the type of game that EA games should create.
It's funny how people in the comments are the same people in heats old comparison videos saying the flames were too much....and let's talk about the overall game. All around, I think the cars and engines sound a lot more unique this time around, especially with some stock turbos and superchargers. Graphics are definitely hitting the spot. Wish it could get a dedicated cockpit view, though... I mean shift had it. I guess it would be hard to sync hand and wheel motions with the drift system, but it's only a dream, lol Either way, i think it's a huge step up from heat while still having much room to improve, starting from a somewhat new standpoint. Cops are definitely more aggressive than heat once you progress further in the story, and they are already waiting for your ass after the races, lol
@@chrisdominik1822 i never mentioned the first nfs games cuz that was unrealistic but in talking about shift 1 and 2 cuz in that game you could see: Your character shift into gears Your character pressing the gas pedal, brake and clutch Im Pretty sure there is more
@@csabazombori9862I had this exact same thought but it's more of a comically arcade driving game. Definitely has a skill gap if you tune your cars into drift or grip, what upgrades you get, what class you're sticking to and how to tune cars for specific races. Lots of min maxing you can do
Unbound definitely has the edge here. The updated soundscape helps out a lot. As for the car itself, it’s up to personally taste really. Heat’s vehicle sounds are much louder and are the bigger focus, while Unbound strikes a balance between the car sound and everything around it, such as the wind noise helping to give a bigger sense of speed, or the sound of passing objects.
Both games are nice but some physics in unbound are annoying. The game is kinda new so I hope they fix the problems. Btw they said we can turn off all effects. But we can't :/
No decepcionan en el sonido, es el fuerte de los nfs, en los gráficos tampoco, pero no me convence que hayan sacado las flamas en el unbound, estaban muy bien hechas en el heat
Maybe you are missing something, at 4:50 Heat have massive reflections, but when you are doing gameplay, i cant see that at all. As far as i remember, Heat have more vibrant colours, also there is a community mods to heavily enhance the visuals without affecting performance.
Heat had an amazing story campaign don't get me wrong unbound also had a great campaign but heat's progession system really made it addicting and made progressing in the game more fun and the handling in heat overall feels good and the cops were on a different level, I hope the developers fix the bugs and glitches and the overall problems unbound has asap. There are a lot of other things that unbound does better then heat like the graphics are miles better and the game actually throws a challenge at you when you're racing had a longer progression system and different ways to play and overall little details and the overall customization options
It’s funny because people were hating on heat before unbound was out saying payout was better. People these days love to complain and just hype the older games, nostalgia merchants, it’s like a cool thing to say 😂
People that say heat is better than Unbound should really just stop attending to this community and the franchise, we are better off without you guys tbh...
I beg to differ. Heat is loud because it lacks some spacial sound in a non hood or bumper cams. Unbound has those nice pops, and it sounds like I'm behind the car, not in front and behind at the same time. Next time, try the hood cam and tune up the exhaust meter. Unbound gtr has that nice deep base to it like it would vibrate my chest revving up.
Graphics are undoubtedly a lot better in nfs unbound. My biggest issue with Unbound is the police. The progression in heat at lower levels is really weird. The police evolves with heat and not with your car or speed so you can be matched against the best police with the worst car without trying to even gain heat by just doing races. And that's where the biggest issue lies. To race you have to gain heat and after 2/3rds of all races you will have the cops after you. This makes it so it's impossible to dodge a 5 star heat chase at lower levels if you're trying to gain a lot of cash through races. As a last remark the cops' way of detecting you is really odd and they're practically everywhere so it's really difficult to drive without getting caught(at heat 4, 5).
Thats true the cops is really2 frustrating, even u do in day or night races it doesn't matter, the heat will reset until next day. Ah one tip in unbound, if u cant escape of police when 5 heats, just leave the game and back, u will spawn in nearby gas station and ride safe to garage or meetups
Heat for sure. I've always been into realism. Better graphics for the new consoles but they make the game too cartoonish. Looks like they took a step backward to me and will be the first Need for Speed game I won't be playing
@@Cant.findLyst NFS Heat had many clipping issues that made it unplayable on some races. NFS Unbound has them but not as much as NFS Heat. Also the grip handling is more refined than NFS Heat's.
Bro i think nfs heat is the best because the graphics look good and you can costumize every car you can and the back fire of the cars in NFS HEAT is neat AF thats why i radly choose NFS Heat
What throws unbound off for me is the comic effects and anime effects and depressing exhaust fire and the cars sound the only good things about unbound is the graphics. NFS heat is chefs kiss when it comes to everything from flamethrower exhaust fire to the crackle and pop in the car sounds the nice twin turbo sound to the point where it’s heat>unbound.
Os gráficos do HEAT são mais realistas, isso me agrada mais, esse novo NFS não curti, achei que forçaram no arcade, esses densenhos na tela acho muito podre, espero q tenha cm desabilitar pra quem não gosta tbm
@@playz_t bro stop acting like everyone switches up on need for speed nobody complained about heats exhaust then liked it stop getting offended at people opinions dude
I chose unbound better grapich and i love the style effect when doing Drive and nos effect beautifull love it maybe some people hate it but for me i like it ITS more good than blury NFS heat on last gen for my opinion.
NFS has fallen off man. Need for speed underground 1/2 and most wanted were the best racing games ever to exist. That early 2000s music, scenery, car styling, that excitement when you find a new body shop (nfsu2) and unlock a new area of the map. That proper fear when you’re cooling down from cops with 500,000 milestone points to unlock the races to the boss battles. We just need NFS 1 music, NFS2 map, NFS3 police, all of games car list and we millions of people will be buying.
sounds like ur take based mostly on nostalgia, you wont be excited from finding bodyshop, thats too generic, cops in heat were scary and intense too but shit gets old and you were young. it will never give you same feeling.
@@Silence867 No its more of a story, progression type game. In the modern day it’s just “level up” to get parts by doing repetitive stuff, glitches, XP Farming, like back then you had to progress through the story to get somewhere.
@@Soulkollextor thats exactly what was happening in both underground and partially mw if we remove cutscenes and tiny story line. What devs should do, is to implement smthn renovative, refreshing, they trying doe but most of the time they miss or didn't polish it enough, probably coz of tight deadlines and coz EA is a great publisher 🤡NFS desperately needs minds/enthusiasts but those type of speciments are rare and they are not willing to work with those conditions nor under the name of EA.
EA Blackbox PC game series was from Underground (2003) to Pro Street (2007) but Hot Pursuit 2, Undercover,Run and NFS World were also creates by EA Blackbox which were hit games. But Criterion was also a good developer because they made Hot Pursuit Reboot and Most Wanted (2012) which were Superhit games.
Atmosphere looks better in unbound however the cartoon effects make it look less realistic I don't know I have been having a lot of fun with heat but I want something new and better graphics so I will try unbound Plus heat i can't get any online races anymore
All these comments but I don’t get it. I LOVE unbound and this is coming from an original nfs player. People were crying about the animations and characters before the game was released…I was like “what are u guys stupid? It looks amazing.” Plus you can turn off animations in settings. Heat flame exhaust looks absolutely ridiculous and unbound sounds and looks way better.
I still feel nfs heat was the best one they've made so far. They could've just bring back underground with nfs heat gameplay and some more customization options and we would've been happy but they went with the new school try hard route. Smh
Let's be real: Heat is still good if you only have last gen consoles like PS4 or Xbox One, or decent PC. But If you have next gen consoles like PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, or high specification PC I recommend to play Heat and Unbound.
Right is really amazing, and HAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN AN NFS GAME FOR ONCE ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Honestly y'all really need to grow up with Unbound's driving effects, they're not even anime or cartoon, they're graffiti for fuck sake.
