I perform in long term care and will slip this in and then get em all to sing... oh we ain't got a ....... They love this.. nothing fun about getting old but this is fabulous
I did a lot of small intimate acoustic gigs during 1970's-1980's.... I always started the gig with a variation of this song which a friend from church passed onto me from a weekend retreat she had been on... I've sung many songs to my wife... but not this one, which I was known for: my words We got married on Sunday, the party lasted till Monday, when the guests had all gone, we were alone.. side by side. First we got into bed then , I got the shock of my life when, her teeth and her hair, she placed on a chair, side by side. I stood up in horror as out her glass eye fell, then her wooden leg and arm . both fell off as welll. I was broken hearted, half my wife had departed , so I slept on a chair, there was more of her there, side by side. I stood back in horror, and our her glass eye did fall,. and then her leg and her arm, she placed on a chair by the wall. I was broken hearted, half my wife had departed, so I slept on a chair, there was more of her there..... side.... by..... side. …. HAVE FUN WITH THIS … !!!!
