Haha dude I'm always making things more complicated. Then I get frustrated because it's too cluttered and I start all over. I think I found a happy medium with this setup. Thanks for the compliments!
Oh yeah this little shelf was an idea my wife came up with for when we're popped up and hanging out in the camper (not sleeping). Sometimes my wife and daughter are up top playing board games and she wanted a place for her drink and phone. That little shelf folds up and down.
Downstairs is just a 24" roll-up mattress from Amazon that doesn't feel great. The upper is custom from foam factory and it's the 3" HQ. There's a company on Instagram called @overlandfoam that also makes great mattresses and covers. I'm going to have another one made for the lower levels soon.
Yeah the lock fell out. They said it was a bad batch from the supplier and they already have it resolved. They sent me a new lock within days of me reaching out to them and I just haven't got around to installing it.
