I remember going to the theater to see this movie in the 70s. Maico sure had a lot to do to promote their prize bikes in those days. Im also a proud owner of a Maico 250 myself.
First thing, I watched on HBO, great film, always remembered the murder on the track, Caucasian exploitation film with plenty of heart, and that Susan Howard, was one Texas beauty,
Saw it in a drive in theater when it came out. It was so horrible, I've been emotionally scarred all these years. I mean, Marjoe Gortner?.....and real footage of actual racing didn't match the bikes used in theories. And Michael Parks was a bit old for the part....
