BARBER! funny seeing you here. Lol & to answer your question, no I am in the same boat haha. It displays a lot more skill than you can see in a game. Really makes players shine.
jordan of the hockey world. elevates the play of his teammates, makes those on his line better, plays offense, defense, fast paced, hard forecheck, knockdown drag out....all around great player
@@n3g802 edgework? Best EVER!! BTW I'm a Flyer's fan. I hate the penguins but it is downright foolish to not recognize this guy's insane amount of talent.
2:39 look at the goalie just flicking his arm up and saving the easy shot. Looks so cool, he's doing it so casually. I know it's a very easy shot but still, you can see that the reflexes are there.
@@Macker2613 it really was a dumb thing to say. I played Jr hockey at the highest level and we beat more Canadian teams than we lost to. Maybe it's just Americans have more employment options than farming or hockey? I will say this tho, Sid is an incredible player it's just too bad about all that crybaby stuff he does.
@@ShayMarie.00 how about beaver trapping? Logging? Working at The Beer Store? Since nearly everyone lives within one hundred miles from the U.S. border is sucking on the teet of the U.S. considered a job?
87 Unlikes? Clever but I'm not sure why there would be any on this video showing one of the best ever doing the little things that make him one of the best ever. That backhand is better than my forehand
sidney crosby is IMO the greatest technical hockey player ever - every single aspect of the game in terms of skill set (edgework, stckhandling, shooting, dekeing, eye/hand co-ord., protecting the puck, one hand on the stick) he has worked so hard at; and through talent and hard work has honed those skills to an unprecedented level. backhand at 4:13 - wow. i cannot think of one single player in the history of the game who embodies it all like crosby. gretky - brilliant mind, eye for the game. lemieux - 6'6" beast with great hands, neidermeir - stride, howe - strength and toughness, richard - heart and determination. orr - athleticiism but not one had it all like crosby. thought? comments? input?
I seriously used to not be a fan of crosby but his Hockey IQ is off the charts crazy and his playmaking ability is crazy and did anybody see that ridiculous backhand goal...?
I would watch Sid do anything in hockey, but thought now he should be relaxing, but I know he’ll do his best for next season, just hope he gets equal help for him, some of that team is not equal or even close😊😊
He had a net and sometimes missed it, so it destroyed the dryer. There's a commercial with Crosby vs. Talbot shooting where his mum and dad explain it.
I think it is a lot of hockey players as sidney crosby but sid plays in important play offs games with big heart and so much temperament.i think this player make each team where he is playing 20-30 % better when samebody sees him plaing with so much passion each player must play 120%.he does know loose the games.
There are great players in every era Lafleur, Bossy in long gone years.... None have dominated like Gretzky. Hockey minds living through many eras agree. Sid is a super star player. I have watched hockey for 4 decades to compare. He is a dominate player but he not a history changer with his hockey greatness like 99. (or 66)
Gretzky was the best ever, but if you look at the goalie stats at that time, they have never been weaker then in the early 80s. You put Crosby in that era in the shape he is in and he would be close to every record.
One of if not the best two way players in hockey, ultra skilled as a stickhandler, sportsmanlike, fun to watch. I love Datsyuk, and would definitely put him in my top five forwards in the world (Ovechkin, Crosby, Stamkos, Datsyuk, Malkin). I'll give that Datsyuk outclasses Crosby as a defensive player (constantly the most takeaways in the NHL), and as a stickhandler, but he doesn't have Crosby's vision, shot, passing ability, explosiveness, or puck control.
can we seriously stop comparing players from different eras .... i mean the way i see it ... different style different time different game but all these players were legends for the teams ( gretz, lemieux, sid, lafleur, roy) lets just appeciate what each of these legends did for their teams during their era! and just have fun marveling at the highlights we have on youtube
Hes got everything! Eyes-hands coordination, amazing strength, fast, hard worker...Now he need to stay healthy. Just to imagine how my head would hurt after a game (from getting hit),concussions must be awful, right?
That was a NASTY backhander that he beat the goalie top shelf with. I still would have said that even if that shot wouldn't have knocked the water bottle off of the net. Lol.
Sidney Crosby es el mejor jugador de hockey. Él es el más rápido y el más talentoso. Él es mejor que Wayne Gretzky y Mario Lemieux. ¡Viva Sidney Crosby
