I love the fact that he knows the name of all the kids. Like he treats them with respect. Nate too. They don’t show up one day but the whole week. Wow this is 4 years old.
Glad i watched this... Being a Flyers fan i never liked Sidney... But got lots of respect for the man... I can say now Crosby.. Always have liked Nate... Hope you come back from injury soon Sidney.. the game needs you.
What I kind of got from this is that he will know when to call it quits and end his career. I don't think it will be because of injury, he will just know it is "time". Won't have anything to do with age or because he doesn't think he can/will win another Cup. It will be because he lost the passion he has. That could be 2 years from now, but he will know when it's time. That's the best way for any athlete to leave. "It's Time".
When you have the opportunity to grow up at a place like this, everyone loves to come back home. Anyway greatest hockeyplayer for me and a great sportsman. And last but not least a Pittsburgh Penguin....
it’s telling how ‘ sport ‘ can be a positive influence in a person. True about the village & im sure great parents. A class act. Proof that he’s Canadian and gives back
Man I can’t wait till my guy gets back on the ice!!! I hate that he’s been injured it just doesn’t seem the same watching the game without him out there in that black and gold
Got a picture with him on that wharf at his house on grand lake before. My grandmother also lives on the lake so I kayaked there one day and he was outside swimming and I got a pic with him
My favorite part of Canada (being from the US)...THOUGH I have yet to cross the prairies or around Vancouver. This is just a beautiful quaint little place...something you could find in Maine where hockey reigns.
Diehard Leaf fan, so it goes without saying that I have always HATED playing the Pens and Hated Crosby...( for carving up my team for over a Decade!! 😣 ) However, there's just no Denying that the guy has been the Greatest player in the league from the time he became Captain of his Pens. In fact, after winning his 3rd cup and back to back MVP of the playoffs, there was even some whispering the "GOAT" word ? 🐐 😮 Idk about that one.... Personally.... I never liked comparing different generational superstars of different eras.. But no matter what someone thinks of Crosby, you have to respect what he's accomplished in his incredible career. In one word ..... he is a "winner". From multiple Olympic Golds medals, 3 Stanley Cups, a Canada Cup Gold with MVP honors .... He just WINS. BUT ..... like every superstar before him, father time eventually creeps up and begins to tag along. It's now 2021 and it's safe to say that Crosby has successfully "Passed the torch" so to say... to the new Generational Phenom.... Matthew Tkachuk. 😂😂😂😂 ..JK. ( he's more like the new Marchand 😏 ) Seriously, obviously it's Connor McDavid, easily the new face of the NHL, and hopefully the key in bringing the Cup back to Edm.👍👍 ( just not until my Leafs win one first..😁 )
