Dance music for people who don't like dancing as much as they like drops and having their hands in the air. Similar to north American dubstep communities.
People doubting the quality of Moombahton and its production... please type - Take It Back (Dillon Francis Remix) - Toddla T into your search bar and pick a HD one =)
@SongsAndVlogs remix is where you mix one or more song together edits where you edit stuff out... i think theres more definitions of edit but thats basically it
@octavoch haha, i guess it's to get multicultural people and cash in on the latinos appeal to the reggaeton beat, the middle white and latino class taste in Dirty Dutch music, and black culture cause it got a cool groove to it (and they like latinas ;D! ) so yeah, i don't really take this genre too seriously, but it's good to cash into in big cities like NYC
this is the most vacuous song i've ever heard, one synth lead one vocal sample repeated for 5 minutes. this genre won't last as long as justin bieber does in bed
@officialbassbounce you can say that for rap bud. they slowed down old house and funk records and isolated the house beat and got rap from it. same with dubstep. They either sped up rave records like drum and bass then added a 2step beat or slowed down records around and wrapped it around a two step beat with a drop. All a combination of older music. Moombahton literally came out 2 years ago it's just too young to be buzzing hot. Raggaeton is the same thing if you heard it as well.
@instasis yeah but when you take a song and slow it down a lot it lowers the pitch, if you listen to stuff by dillon francis and dave nada from now its original tracks theyre making, i prefer originality. this song was made when moombahton was just starting
Is moombahton mostly being heard by/for latinos, multicultural, middle class white americans, blacks any opinions? Ive heard several criticism of the genre so i was curious.
all these comments are funny. damn did people forget what dubstep use to sound like? skream and the midnight request line? this is new. and it hits hard!! so controversial people are gnna start listenin and askin around about it. slow the bpm down and u have moombahton. how fast is dubstep/house recorded at? THIS SHIT IS NEW AND ITS GNNA GO BIG!!
Sorry guys, watch out...this was on NPR music today and Diplo's been working on some too....it's got a good shot at blowing up ^^;.....let's hope it's not dubstep all over again?
@ all the crying girls here ( so yeah i mean you all... ) ur all naging about some songs but maybe they just started making music every1 needs to start somewhere so dont talk about them like there nothing they ARE our next music generation =.=
