At 4:50 Looks like the game is registering the fixed force of the dair and overwriting every other input of force (bombs/mines) included. So the full damage is dealt but the game only delivers the force onto you since the enemies were already caught by a different moves force... That would also imply unarmed dair takes priority over an explosion... xD that's some killer feet you got!
My best guess as to why people don't use cannon is not the cannon itself but the Legends at your disposal who have them. For me, the style of a character matters above all the rest which is why I can't stand Jaeyun's fat 12-year-old-haircut ass even though I love using him. Onix is another boring fantasy dragon thing. Xull is a glass cannon. You can win in a few hits but you can also lose in just as few hits so it stops being fun after a while. Lin Fei is actually a lot of fun with a cool style but it just gets old after a while. This basically leaves Sidra who does the pirate style flawlessly and is super fun, but when you're stuck to one legend it gets old and you go to other legends and forget about these ones. That's my answer. They lack style points. It's the reason nobody likes Dusk or Zariel. Their default skins are too ugly to be willing to play as them.
