The reason you couldn't do anything is because of the broken shield debuff, it prevents running, shielding up and meleeing, its shown by the Red icon with a timer after your shield has been shot a signifigant amount of times

Siege isn't easy, it's so hard to hit a default cam on Chalet with the Gonne-6... wait But seriously, rather than crapping on poor players and gatekeeping by wanting them to quit, it's so nice to see inexperienced people do something good.

Always put 1 or 2 shots on door frames. Gives you a general headshot trajectory off the cuff.

I played year one got to level 160 and now that ive come back i always feel so embarrassed cause these map reworks feel so complicated and i dont know positioning yet or where to enter when attacking, dont know how to setup yet either, cant aim for nothing. But i know its not a game to be learned in one day and that helps the mental i guess.

I remember when i was learning siege when i played bullet holes were a thing dieing to one and seeing the kill cam whas super scary seeing how good people we're this game is so fucking difficult

Map callouts are such a hard shit to learn simply because there is no map which I could turn up and see what is called what, no, only source of info is name of current location and plant locations and trust me in the beggining it is pretty much last info you would look up on the screen. So even when I know maps pretty decent in terms how are all rooms placed relative to each other I have basically no connection between this and what name correlates to them.

Teaching someone to do somthing in siege Is so hard my friend just bought siege and I was teaching them to lean and they kept meleeing and when i said hold l2 and press r3 or l3 they held l2 they held it for a second before releasing then they pressed r3 It took me two hours to teach them they don't listen

Siege matchmaking is crazy right now, Im level 267 e my 3 friends are around this as well and we've got low levels like 60's and 80's like 5+ times now, is absurd, for both us and the low level guy

As a ben who is bad at the game, i can confirm he does get exited when i do good.

Hardest thing about trying to get someone new into seige is mainly the cheaters, console/pc both is the same problem

Honestly I want an option where I can only pick a map that I want to learn since mixing the maps in standard is so hard to learn, (currently level 76 and silver was my peak) I cannot save myself from helping my team knowing where the enemy is because the map couldnt do shit for me, thats why I always ping or red ping.

Call outs are the biggest thing, Valorant and CS2 remedy this by having the name of the room or area you are in being under the minimap, Siege has no feature like this unless you are on a drone or spectating, It would help a lot. People make call outs all the time, and not having played in 5 years, some of those call outs might as well be static noise. I can not do anything with that information because i do not know the maps, and i think "just go into practice and learn them all" is pretty narrow sited on the issue with learning siege, you should not have to go to external sites to learn something about a game you are actively playing. Also its the verticality, so many maps are being played vertically not horizontally for optimal play and that is hard to deal with coming from any game, Even in TF2 a hero shooter with lots of classes that go flying into the air hardly anyone looks up if at all.

Use to play Siege, came back for two seasons, felt like a new player due to massive changes they've made, still can do decent, and left the game after the two seasons. Not saying Siege isn't great it can be but majorly its not the best since there are a lot of issues in the game that continue to hold it back without actual changes making anything better almost worst. I use to enjoy Siege but I can't bring myself to enjoy it again, and I think it may stay that way just depends if the changes they make will actually be good or not.

What Varsity would teach a Son or Daughter if he had one - Kid you need to learn how to shoot and kill in a video Game.

So my game knowledge is next to nothing. Never played ranked and im mostly playing quickplay or arcade so reckless plays are my thing .

Nah on the topic of paternity me personally I would be like fuck that bastard. 💀 I really dont think I would be able to contain the feelings of being betrayed like that so I'll just cut myself out of the equation save the kid any grief. I've dealt with betrayal (obviously smaller situations) before and I just did the same thing: full purge. So something that deep even if it had been years nah im good immediately just too much for me. I dont need more bs in this life way, and its way too common for it to be about trust its pretty much if they actually respected you or not no matter what kind of situation the relationship was in. siege isnt hard to learn. it took me about 200 matches of ranked to get the fundamentals down. after that it was pretty easy to rank up. just stay commited and want to learn then its easy
