Thank you! 😃🙏 I have a Siemens IQ300 and the dishplay was blinking and this helped solve my problem. My dishwasher was closed but a frying pan was stopping it from closing completely, so I took it out, closed the dishwasher again and then it worked 😃
Guys I fixed mine somehow, the "minus" button was forcefully inserted and then I brought a toothpick to bring it back, and now I can select every button normally.
> How do I set the automatic door opener to open when the program has finished? See the user manual for settings. In this model the setting is "autoOpen Dry" which has factory setting "o02 - automatic door opening is activated only in the Eco 50°C programme. Change the setting to "o01 - automatic door opening is activated in all programmes".
Hello, i'm just asking, have you connected that to your internet and home connect app? I have bosch serie 4 silence plus dishwasher, and i have connected it to the home connect. It Is a very great service btw.
Hi, I personally don't see that much benefit connecting a dishwasher to internet versus potential security vulnerabilities. See e.g. www.kaspersky.com/blog/how-to-secure-smart-home/47472/
I have a similar problem with our siemens dishwasher SN26L201IN/48 which isn’t resolving by the solution you provided. Sometimes when I start the machine light blinks on the first program along with 2:30 in the time slot. Can’t switch program or start. Have tried long press start to reset…I don’t know if it resets or helps. At times the h:changing numbers is seen. Not sure whether it’s related to pressing reset. After half a day or a day I try starting again…sometimes it starts sometimes same things described above continue to happen. Pls guide
Isn’t this pretty obvious, it’s quite obvious you shouldn’t be able to select a program with the door open. It’s not an ”error” or ”bug”, it’s how every dishwasher works…
This is the first dishwasher that prevents program selection when the door is open. For example see this video (the end of it) that our previous dishwasher was fine with it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5jgebTrf-ao.html
@@brucewayne1256 Sorry, bad wording in my previous comment. Meant to say that "This is the first dishwasher that I know or have owned that prevents this" so it was really not obvious for me and probably for many other viewers too.
@ayne1256Its only Siemens freestanding dishwasher models that does this, dunno why, maybe a programming fault. This is not for saftey, choosing a programm or selecting options is not dangerous lol
Yes, that's why "bug" is in quotes in the title. Some dishwasher brands and models behave like this while some models allow button presses when the door is open. See an example from another comment.
