Siemens Opens £200m State-Of-The-Art Train Factory in Goole 

In a very rare move for the UK manufacturing sector, a new train factory has been opened in Goole by Siemens Mobility to build the new 2024 stock trains for the Piccadilly line, as well as potential future trains for the Bakerloo line, and battery trains to replace diesel on the mainline.
