Only discovered this artist quite recently, and it’s interesting to hear this earlier work now that I’ve spent the past couple of weeks kind of low-key obsessed with her more recent output. Her voice, her sense of melody, her style and humor, all fantastic. A brilliant talent, a true natural, and a legend in the making.
went to see C.W Stoneking in 2018 at a lillte place in Burbank Ca. Sierra was the opening act, just her and her guitar. my gf bought this CD that night, for like $15.
Somehow this popped into my recommendations with so little views and I'm so glad it did. Clicked on it just to check it out for a second and listened to the full album without hesitation. Your music reminds me so much of bluegrass LA vie en rose in the greatest ways possible. Thank-you, you are so talented!
I absolutely love this album. It's a real gem that represents a time in her life that she's moved on from so cherish it because I don't think you'll hear another one like it.
and i'm not kidding, have a duet with David Hasselhoff... just for the voices ribboning. ok, not. it's like Nick Cave and Doja Cat dueting " Go Down Moses".
