I listen to a LOT of music of all kinds. A LOT. And she is hands down one of the greatest improvisational soloists on any instrument I have ever heard. Such well Constructed and well developed solos while being technically solid and playing expressively. Such a command of the instrument at such a relatively young age.
The most talented musician couple ever. Sierrra Hulls mandolin playing is unequaled and Justin Moses plays all string instruments and plays them perfectly; Guitar, Dobro, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, & Bass. He must be from another planet
Not sure about unequalled ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Afzl3A8o7vE.html&ab_channel=LoganGreen & ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O2P1USiqzKw.html&ab_channel=DanBeimborn ) but she is great in every way. Can't disagree with your comment about Justin tho'
So I read on Wiki when I looked her up that she and Justin are now a married couple, as of two years back - and they tour together. What a talented match!
Had to give her props always nicknamed the people I really like that's just for me for my country remembering the way we do in the south y'all Sierra H. AKA Sierra smiles 😊
Think i have just had the best night of my life listening to sierra and Justin playing just about every instrument in any music shop been really brilliant look em up :)
Because music has charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks or bend a knotted oak. If it can do all that, a few joyful tears are to be expected.
First heard her on the opry around 2002 -before the opry was hijcaked by rock music- she played Big Mon with her her brother and blew me away she was about 10 or 11.
Pretty amazing. I heard one of her songs a couple of days ago on the radio, and had to hear more. Great playing, great singing, and she's a real sweetheart. Her partner here is pretty great too. There are easier things in life than playing bluegrass guitar.
You two are a lot of fun to listen to! Great together! Holy smokes you’re both fast too!! I never imagined 2 mandolin plays could keep me mesmerized for so long. That’s a huuuuge mandolin!!!! (Hummm, I have Weber speakers in my Amps)
She's amazing, and the best ambassador for that Weber Octave Mandolin! I'm a huge fan of hers, as is anyone with ears that work. Also, I can't help but notice, respectfully, how awesome her hair looks in that video. Anyway, That Moses feller ain't no slouch, either! Big fan of his, as well. And is there a stringed instrument that gentleman can't play, and play well? I think not. Such talent, the both of them. Blessings, they are.
Enjoyed them both when i saw them at the Station Inn. Both were very nice to chat with after the show. I like to see Justin a lot more with other players. I know he plays in Ricky Skaggs band, but i would like to see him in the smaller venues, with the spotlight more on him. Ya'll please come to Louisville.
Gosh, I just love an octave mandolin. They have a such a full, rich resonance. I really wish more mando players would embrace and make use of them. Great work, both of you!
Saw her in person in FL few years ago. She announced from the stage that she is recently old enough to rent a car (25?) Was traveling with her bassist, only.
Oh yea i know, lol... I was just saying, that after listening to this -it opens ur mind to listen to other stuff, like - ukulele ;) After listening to Sierra - I've listened to Eddie Vedder ukulele songs. Amazing ! :) Thank you, tough !
Personally I'm glad she's taking time about career. Once she finishes college she might start to explore Nashville, but she has so many contacts like Allison Krauss to guide her thru the murky music industry. She's not letting herself being catapulted like the pop divas. She's a small town town girl living humbly.
Ugh... listening to the last tune again. I'm such a Sierra Hull fan, it's not even funny. But dang, one can't help but become a Justin Moses fan as well! That young man is so ridiculously talented and soulful. Thank you!
I know a tuba doesn't have strings, but if Justin Moses picked one up and played amazingly I wouldn't be surprised. He seems able to play anything exceedingly well. Sierra Hull's no slouch either! Great performance.
I like the look of the guitar that Justin was playing at the start of this video. I saw "The Weber" on the headstock but I haven't been able to find the website for the company that makes that guitar. I only found a Weber that makes mandolins or one that only has electric guitars but no acoustics.
I was pushing my bicycle up between Target and Best buy, Google maps it failed me. I said I hate you Google. I had it set on a female voice she came back and said what about my vast array of knowledge?
