Justin and I had a great time at the Grand Ole Opry this past Saturday night. Here's an old favorite tune of mine called "Little Liza Jane". Check out Adam Steffey's version on the Alison Krauss & Union Station album, "So Long, So Wrong" if you haven't heard it before!

This talented multi-instrumentalist is certainly on another level musically. Justin plays Guitar, Dobro, Banjo, Violin, Mandolin, and Bass-all great. Sierra plays guitar and mandolin-great. You wont find a more talented couple

I and the wife attended the Opry years ago. This young married couple probably still in their Huggies. We were guests of my wife's lifelong nursing friend. Her hubby owned a business in McMinnville, 72 miles from the Opry. After the Opry, her hubby Larry informed me he was too sleepy to drive back to their home in McMinnville and a short cut to take. Right then I realized that Tenn roads are eiher up or down!! With God's help we arrived at their home towns city limits. I'm from Texas which is primarily flatlander country. Mountains give me the heebie jeebies. End of story. Moral of story? Pull over and get a nap enroute.

I can still see Sierra when she was 12 years old and on stage with Alison Krauss and Union Station at a Bluegrass All-Star event. Amazing stuff then and amazing stuff now!
