"The metaverse is real."
Artur Sychov was not on site and spoke to the conference participants from Prague or from the metaverse. The audience was able to see live what Somnium Space’s metaverse looks like and how it works. Artur Sychov showed what it takes to create a metaverse. The principle is built on three pillars. 1. it must be immersive. You have to be able to immerse yourself in the world of the metaverse. 2. it must be decentralised. People must be able to protect their assets and this must not be on the server. The best tool for this is blockchain. There is no better tool that can guarantee the protection of goods. 3. It must be “persistent”. Users who are in the same metaverse must be able to see the same thing. Only if these three pillars are in place is a metaverse possible.
