I use to lose a lot in Mage Sif mirror matches until I learnt how to muligan. I think this list will make it much easier too. However, the key is to full muligan for Sif and/or keyboard and Volume Up. Reverberations the snake, so that you get two snake oils and you have potential to get three. I never lose to the mirror matches now.

I love dying to a 2 health mage with 25 health and 4 armor because they have sif and a bunch of 0 cost fireballs bec for some reason spell damage works on the snake poison things

I play nature shaman so sif isn't a problem for me but I run theotar in other decks to try to snipe it. Just needs to go to 7 mana and when objection rotates out mage won't be as oppressive. Cards like CS and Obj are just poorly designed cards that give no counter play.

I wont argue, random secrets are distgusting, but i think there's a lot of others mage's spells who are really annoying to go against too, like solid alibi for exemple, it shouldn't be possible to generate or randomly cast theses cards, same for the Symphony of sins, how the fuck can Yogg (for exemple) cast this kind of broken spells ?!

@@zmadbassist first i don't give a fuck about magic and second i'm not against rng in general i just think some cards must be deleted from the generation pool, why can't we discover symphony but we can randomly cast it ? That doesn't seems logic for me. Another exemple when a priest cast immolate, the game is over 99% of the time, there're so many frustrating cards like this, randomly cast them will make people upset

Sif is the biggest problem with the class. 6 mana malygos was a horrible idea. Random secrets only feel so bad because of the current pool of mages uninteractive bullshit. Sure, cs and obj have no business being in the same rotation, imo neither should be in the game anymore, but look at the non-rng win con mage lists like excavate. They run the sif combo and thats how they win. Idk if ive ever lost to mage tempo, its just a countdown til they draw the one card. Only counterplay is rat, theo, or pray sif is low in the deck

The biggest problem with mage is they are every types of decks in one because of his generation pool, he can be rather aggro or rather control, because his otk is set up just by playing others cards and draw Sif, mage can win every matchup cause he'll beat them at their own playstyle (even paladin cannot aggro a mage because he have enough early tempo, and he's still destroying any control decks...) To much flexibility has been given to the same class, the same 20 cards package can generate enough to beat any type of decks...

When i play another class i need to choose if i wanna beat aggro or control type of decks, with mage i can do both, that seems unfair
