Comparing a blowback stribog to a piston driven 9mm with locking rotating bolt isnt ideal for my purpose but probably a good argument in value for most consumers. I have two gen1 MPX SBRS I picked up when they were only $1300 in 2015. They run great, are quieter than most blowbacks but also they are zero emission with a large volume or non-k type suppressor. This means they are great hosts for night vision setups. The stribog blasts gas, flash and spark out the ejection port at night, giving away your position. So I would agree most consumers are not using these rifles for my purpose. A Stribog would be a great home defense option for those without the necessity of NV.
@roscoep1082 softer recoil is a big pro for the MPX as well. There is noticeably less muzzle climb on the MPX compared to my SP9A1 (that's even after I put the heavy blast can on the muzzle).
