My Glock 19 has never left my EDC or car carry until I found this P320. The trigger, all of this is my opinion, the grip, and overall ergonomics are much better than the Glock. I love my Glock, but my P320 is hands down my all time favorite gun

Is anyone else finding it ridiculous that the glock fanboys go around to every video that isn't about a glock and try to claim some superiority? This is a fine pistol (better than glock by all honest reviews, even for glock lovers) and there isn't any need for you to jump in here and insert your ego. It's ok to like glock, it's ok to like something else as well. Why not try to become more well versed, instead of just trolling?

Got my P320 in FDE 9'mm Compact. It is a fantastic weapon.

Love my P320c. It replaced my Glock 23 that I had for many years. I now carry it while on duty. I have run about 700-800 rounds through it now and it has been flawless.

Just had my first real experience with handguns in my firearms class of the law enforcement academy this week and for anyone thinking that shooting that red target or the gong is easy, you are completely wrong. Gave me a whole new level of respect for hickok and his skill.

I have the full size 320 and it's probably the most accurate pistol I have in my collection. The trigger is smooth and has nice short reset. Can't go wrong with a P320!

I have over 5000 rounds through both my F and SC with no issues at all. Fantastic firearm.

That pistol is the original build version. They now have a revised version with some changes to the slide stop lever, grip frame and take down lever. My wife recently bought a compact "Gen 2" and it shoots like a dream.

I have the P320 M17 and I really love it ! I plan to buy a .40 s & w caliber P320 so that I can buy a .357 sig barrel compatability as well. The longer barrel version in those calibers or .45 acp would be a fun dear, coyote or hog hunting pistol. I apreciate Mr Hickok for being so informative and honest on his evaluations !!! He reminds me of an old western gunslinger the way he points shoots and hits everything he shoots at ! I feel sorry for anyone that ever had to face him in a gunfight !!!

I just got mine this week, I bought the full size p320RX (w/ red dot). It's a great gun and very accurate. I now shoot 4" square at 25 yards. I took it out of the box and started shooting, and now after 500+ rds, not a single hickup. The only problem is availability, I ordered my p320RX and it took 3 months to get it. BTW, I paid $710 for my Sig, a great deal considering the red dot.

Hickok45, If I could make a wish for a gun for you to review and shoot, it would be a SIG too, the legendary SIG P210 9mm, the classic version used in the swiss military forces from -49 to into the -70es I think, and the more modern version of it with a magazine catch on the side after the 1911 pattern. Legendary for its accuracy, ergonomics, reliability and high quality. I remember you said when you reviewed the CZ 75, that the CZ 75 was the only gun you knew about having the slide rails running inside the frame. There is another, and that is the SIG P 210, it was first with this, and many think the CZ designer looked at the P 210, and used this feature in the CZ 75. Happy Easter Holidays! Cheers.

hickok, I was really hoping you were going to do a video on the .45 acp version of this baby. I was going to go for a glock 21sf (or even more comparably, a glock 30) to get into the "large caliber world", but I've been looking at the sig a LOT. KEEP IT UP!!! Excellent video as ALWAYS.

I agree with what you said in the first P320 Compact video about having the consistent trigger pull each shot. I just happen to like a heavier, more "revolver'ish", DA trigger pull, so I went with the P250 Compact. Have 2 of them, Compact Medium in 9mm, and Compact Small in .45 (with a slip on finger groove grip). Like the 320, it's a tack driver! I'm just a couple hours north of ya... You're welcome to borrow either/both of mine anytime you'd like to put'em through their paces!

Great Gun. This is my EDC, 9mm. Was a little heavy at first but is very comfortable to carry and the weight isn't bad after carrying for a while. I've fired over 600 rounds through mine and haven't had a single malfunction or FTF or FTE. It fires every time I pull the trigger. Clip in, clip out the gun shoots, limp wrist or not, strong hand, week hand. This platform works I trust this gun with my life. Feeds hollow points no problem for 500$ GREAT GUN.

I read the article "Everyone Should Be Welcome" on your website. I loved it. An all inclusive attitude toward the participants in the sport of shooting. That is hopefully the direction our beloved sport is going. Leaving by the wayside the politics, religion, sexual orientation and gender being a factor. Very few criteria. Honesty and supportive of our second amendment. That makes the doors to this sport swing very wide. That is exactly what we need. Once again, great article. PS. Yes, it is becoming popular and as you stated it has been endorsed by the Arm Forces. However, the Navy SEALs are going to Glocks. Why? I have a basis for a response based on certification as a Sig P320 armorer and a Glock armorer. The alleged beauty of the Sig P320 is the FCU which allows the user to switch frames very quickly. However, a full disassembly of the FCU will show that this weapon is a different animal. The sear block alone has a multitude of tiny springs which are difficult to remove and to replace. When I took the course, most the afternoon was spent JUST on the sear block. On the other hand, the Glock has fewer parts. And, many (not all) of the parts are interchangeable with other Glocks. Furthermore, Glock has an unmatched reputation for reliability. I currently own an array of Glocks and I did own two, Sig Sauer P320s. Both Sigs were sold. Why? First, a conversion kit had a retail price of almost $400.00. Second, the Sigs either have or often develop a failure to reset issue regarding the trigger. Granted, to each his own, but based on extensive personal experience and formal education as an armorer, my choice is the Glock. You'll note that I stated that I was certified as a Sig P320 armorer and NOT a Sig Sauer armorer. That's because every Sig is different and Sig Sauer does not issue a broad certificate covering all Sig models. On the other hand, because the Glocks are so similar, with some exceptions, the certification is for ALL Glocks.

Let's all hope this was a good choice for our military.

Carried a P220 for 8 years and was fortunate enough to buy it from my Department 2 years ago. Has about 12,000 rounds through it and shoots great.

This was my first pistol and i love it. I love the modularity, I have tried Glock striker fired pistols and they're good, but for striker fire, the trigger on the p320 is definitely one of the best out there. Even the glocktards I know agree.

I like the P320. One worthwhile enhancement is the Apex Flat Advanced Trigger. A drop in part that takes just minutes to install, I found that it not only reduced pull weight from 7.5 lbs to 4.7 lbs, but also reduced trigger sting as well. Apex says it can be installed without tools, but I found needle-nosed pliers were helpful. A worthwhile upgrade.

Been shooting this pistol for more than a year and she runs just great! Put several thousands of rounds through it already. I changed the grip to small recently and my shooting improved by quite a bit.

I have the one that has 17+1. Think it's just called the compact. The military names it the M18. Shoots great and is reliable most of the time. Only once in a great while it doesn't eject correctly or doesn't feed correctly. Pretty rare but happens.

I bought one of these from Bud's when it first came out. They advertised the compact as the carry and I didn't realize their mistake until a while later when I notified them of their incorrect listing. They offered to swap for the real carry but I declined. Like Greg, I prefer the compact anyway. Not my EDC but one of my about the house self defense weapons. Great gun.

I use to have one of these in 40 s&w and regret getting rid of it, I enjoyed shooting this. it's competitive to glock, Springfield, s&w m&p. you got the quality sig Sauer name without spending 1000 or more on the 229, 226 or other models

Bought this a couple months back right before the Army adopted it. It's a wonderful shooter. Now to get my Mosin Nagant to the range!

If you shoot through an area with sunlight passing through saplings and brush, you can see slower rounds traveling. The strobe effect makes it easier to identify. Noticed that shooting at my parent's a few months ago. The firing lane does need to be fairly shaded though.

I love my p320 compact, got apex trigger. Gun shoots so accurately. Lovin it!

Someone who knows how to holster the weapon correctly even in an incorrect holster…guess what it didn’t fire with an AD! Really great video demonstrating how to handle any firearm!

You can see the projectiles in the beginning. It actually looked slow motion. When I am at an indoor range watching, you see more of a streak with the 9mm. But the video was very impressive. Got to get one of these toys.

I previously owned the subcompact of this gun with the SigLite night sights but I just picked up the compact version with the contrast sights of this gun from my FFL this past week. The compact feels much better in my hand and I love the capacity. Shoots awesome and very accurate.
