For those stating jamming problems or misfires, as well as lead buildup, please also mention ammo used. My brother has the 322 and has fired over 700 rounds trouble free using aquila 38 grain copper plated hollow point.

I just bought one today and ran 350 rounds and had one stovepipe. I will take that any day!!! I love this gun so far!! I also had no leading but haven’t shot it a ton. Ps. I’d have to say the Ruger mark IV 22/45 Tactical is the best 22lr handgun of all time!! This is up there though!!

That’s awesome!! I might need to try that gun out! I definitely love the p322. It’s the only sig I own.

Same here. It's my first sig. Ranged it 4 times now, about 500 rounds through it including 3 boxes of punch. Zero issues. Remember to load mags properly. No issues so far. No leading that I can see so far. Purchased last week in July and loving it. My other 22lr pistol is a Wslther P22Q. Smaller but also nice.

Just got back from my local Bass Pro, had the Sig P322 and the FN 502 on order. I ended up getting the tried and true Mark IV/Volquartzen. The 22LR is a pesky round for SA, and you need something that has been refined over YEARS to make it run well. Yes, I'm paying 3x's what these other pistols cost, but the last thing I want when it comes to shooting, is buyer's remorse. I'd rather buy once, cry once, than live with something that I dread shooting. IMHO, these companies are just trying fill a niche in their lineup, and did a pretty half assed job at it. I don't think they take the 22 LR seriously enough to compete with the Mark IV (base models). The fact that you have to load the Sig mags "carefully" is a deal breaker for me, 20 rds or not. Take the thing apart, it looks exactly like the full auto, air operated BB guns you used to see at carnivals where you had to shoot the star out. I LOVE my Sig X Macro, but for 22 LR, Ruger MKIV is still king.
@LetsTalkTactical

I agree. I think the mark IV is the best. I do gotta say I made this video quite a while ago and it’s still running strong. No hicups. It eats everything I put in it. I do agree with everything you said though.

Mine does not have a problem with leading up. But it is ammo sensitive. It doesn't like the cheap bulk ammo. If you want to see a failure to feed put some Winchester white box 333 or bulk Federal or Remington thunderbolt. Basically any ammo that doesn't have a real good crimp have a tendency to bend in the magazine and then don't feed. Sometimes it helps if you only load 18 rounds in the 20 round magazine. The Taurus tx22 doesn't have that problem. It shoots everything I feed it. It may be just the magazine as I have noticed that the Sig magazine is slightly narrower and stacks the rim fire ammo at less of an angle than the Taurus does plus the Taurus mag holds fewer rounds but it doesn't bend the cheap ammo. It just shoots it.
@johnsuter9330
@johnsuter9330 4 месяца назад
I bought one of these and sold it after one session at the range. It has horrible loading issues. If you don’t load the mag perfectly, it will jam. It will probably jam anyway. .22 does not lend itself well for semi-auto. Sig needs to learn from Ruger. The Mark series are great. Otherwise stick with a revolver for .22

Bought the P322 Comp for $600 and the mags are a joke. Got the bugs worked out and it's fairly reliable now but for that much $ I shouldn't have to do a bunch of bullshit to the mags just to fire it. My buddy bought the same one, same day as me and sold his as well. Mags should be steel and work. Never buying a Sig again.
@jasonjaeger4042
@jasonjaeger4042 2 месяца назад
@slicksmokegaming9857 haven't shot the Taurus but heard good things. But Sig needs to remake the mags for the P322. As soon as I think I have it working decent....it starts causing problems. Love the gun and the feel of it, it's a shame ya gotta deal with the garbage polymer junk.
@jagpilotohio
@jagpilotohio Месяц назад
I have 25,000 rounds through my TX-22 comp. It’s extremely reliable. I did break the extractor a while back but it was a cheap easy fix. I do need to clean the comp every 500 rounds. 3 oz. hydrogen peroxide, 3 oz. white distilled vinegar and a splash of water. Submerge the comp and walk away for a few hours. Toss the liquid, repeat, then scrape out any left over gunk with a metal tool, pick, utility knife etc.
@jasonjaeger4042
@jasonjaeger4042 28 дней назад
@jagpilotohio had no idea you could use hydrogen peroxide to help get the lead off. Obviously acid (vinegar) would work but never thought of it. I've since cerakoted my comp in their micro slick whatever and the lead falls right off with a plastic pick.
@jagpilotohio
@jagpilotohio 28 дней назад
@@jasonjaeger4042 it’s actually the combination of the ingredients. It’s a chemical reaction that creates gas. Dont breathe it. It also can’t be done with aluminum parts. It will eat them up. Steel only.

I suspect a lot of the issues are due to sig and QC. They had similar issues with some parts on the early 356 series.

Seems to me if your having leading problems, it's the ammo not the gun. That has been my personal experience. If you want to shoot cheap dirty ammo, your going to have problems with your firearm getting nasty.

Nah I agree. Reason I did this video is because I saw 2 videos before I bought it of the barrel leading up and having problems.

I disagree mine leads up with everything even mini mags and cci standard been dealing with it for along time after about 60 rounds no matter the ammo it'll start leading up after about 100 rounds almost un unable and have hot lead partials hitting my hands shooting been back to sig 2 times haven't been there for over a year so might send again but definitely frustrated with it I barely shoot it cause I don't want to deal with it when I go shoot 22 I plane to shoot a good few hundred and it's not gonna happen with the p322 so I still rock the tx22 till maybe I can find a fix

i had the romeo zero elite and had issues right from the start. sig exchanged it with a new one and that too had to be sent back. my third one sits on the shelf as i now run a holosun 507K with zero issues.

Hello, your video is about 10 month old now. The Sig still doing alright? Maybe you write the one or other sentence about that, that would be nice :) I like the fact it has 20+1 rounds and would love to own it, but here in Europe it costs around 725 euros which is approximately 780 us-dollars and i find that's a lot and maybe i should go with the Taurus TX22 which costs around 500 dollars and seems to be a super reliable fun plinker. Greetings from Austria, great video.

Thanks man!! Love seeing people from outta country. I didn’t even know y’all could have guns. Yeah it’s doing awesome. Still running perfect. I don’t take it out as much as I do my 9mms, but yes it’s running great. The TX22 is also a really good one. That’s a hard decision

We've had 70 years to analyze and choose to not buy the crappy bulk ammo, yet here we are. They make it because a faction in our society continue to buy it. Also, who didn't grow up with a father that didnt teach us black powder and 22 are the dirtiest and require prompt cleaning after field training. Ive seen extreme leading and subsequent corrosion masking in century old weapons, yet never had the problem myself. The problem you highlight is one of lack of appropriate maintenance after running her dry. I appreciate you spreading as many facts as you have for the general publics consumption, or lack thereof.

Nice video but you didn't show us how it shot on targets. How heavy is the trigger pull would be nice to know as well.
@LetsTalkTactical
@LetsTalkTactical Год назад
Yeah I didn’t know if people cared about .22s that much. The trigger pull is about 4.5lbs. The accuracy is actually impressive. I’ll make another video on it soon. I can unload all 20 rounds at 15 yards on a 10 inch target and not miss a single one. Going as fast as I can pull the trigger. On paper I was getting really good groups. Best .22lr I have ever shot. I haven’t shot it in over a month though.

Some people really just don't understand how much amazing engineering goes into weaponry. Sig is a quality product if you have to do a few tweaks that doesn't make it a bad product you're just a subpar user
@jasonjaeger4042

When you pay $600 for a .22 pistol (P322 Comp) and have to load the garbage mags the way you do (can't believe this guy claims the mags are great....💩, he must've got it for free from Sig if he lied) they should design some steel ones that work with no modifications and send some to everyone who purchased this thing. Only firearm purchase I've ever regretted and I have a pretty big arsenal.
