Sig Romeo X compact red dot: Let’s take a in depth look!!

Heck, we have a video we just put up on the Romeo X and both of the ones that I bought, the one for my wife’s 365 and the one for my tacops other scratched all to heck.

I’ve saw that and ask my wife but she said I can’t spend that much lol.

Yeah we call it the Romeo never zero

Typically it’s below the sight closer to the muzzle. When I hold mine out after zeroing I can see the dot with one eye closed and staring down just the iron sights. I can’t of a good conscience recommend the Romeo X. Had 2 that scratched horribly and one that wouldn’t hold zero and have heard the same from my local FFL. I’d go with a holosun 407 or 507k. Not only that but one of the 2 we purchased the lens scratched up real bad from a simple wiping with a brand new straight from the plastic terry cloth. Yeah it’s just such a pain having to order more of them… the gun came optic ready in all other aspects

Im so confused i thought the whole point of this compact version was to cowitness with stock sights

@@GSquaredTactical sorry yes. Sig is making some pretty cool stuff lately especially optics. However many people will not use it because “sig” is behind it, or branded on the optic somewhere. They should make a clear distinction between sig firearms and “sig” optics

Yeah that makes since. I mean it wouldn’t bother me to put an Sig optic on my Glock, Smith and HK but I could see where some would let that bother them. Heck reached out and make the suggestion to them

As nice as the eps carry is, enclosed optics will fail as aluminum, glass, and polyurethane seals will be subject to different expansion rates and intense shock on a pistol slide. They will eventually lose their seal and nitrogen purge...fogging and ruining sight picture. It doesn't happen near as much if it is a larger rifle dot, but something that small will fail much sooner than you would think.
