My only complaint with the larue surg is the weight. It’s a heavy SBr. But it runs like a sewing machine on full auto lower. And you don’t need to have adapter kits to run m4 lowers. For the money on the sig kit, plus owning many other variants of the MCX. I don’t need to own this version. Edit: thank you for making this video and many others. Great content on very high quality pieces of kit. Hard to find info on some stuff, and you’re getting it done. Thanks again.
@@ke9938 the burn guard does not completely remove the possibility of injuring yourself, It only lowers the chance. The true point of it is avoiding serious high degree burns that can incapacitate the user during a prolongued firefight.
Sig upper on an ADAC lower, I see you are a man of taste. I have both my Virtus(6.75/9in) on Adacs, that, along with the Virtus SD rails actually tucking the Hyperion and Hyperion K is why I haven't considered moving onto the LT. The SD handguard and some Railscales has been pretty close to the "Burn guard" idea for me. Also, the overhang on that MCX looks more pronounced than even my chunky old Virtus.
Ordered my larue suurg back in august in 300 BO. Just waiting on my suppressor to get out of jail. Hope it’s more quiet than the 556. But the rifle is solid.
Sig feels like a fancy European car company the changes things just to nickel and dime you every time you go to the dealership. Supressed no one did a heat sheild with an insulation layer and air gap around the can instead of these open cages.
Hey, great video! Hello from a fellow New Hampshirite or whatever we call ourselves 😂. Question. Do I understand you correctly, this cannot go on a MCX/Spear LT lower? I have an SBR’d Spear LT lower this would look great on. I did see a short you posted as well that looked like it was on a LT lower. Appreciate your input. I’d really like to pick one of these up and a few places still have some available.
I bought the Larue because I thought it was a cool piece of history. I cant really justify the sig version, seems worse imo. Just wish the larue went on a diet, I could probably swap the barrel out and drop a lb like I did on my predatobr. Nice series!
Right when I think I have a lot of cool shit, and know what im talking about....I stumble upon channels like this. Shit makes me feel like a fucking PFC again. Lol
Not to hurt your feelings but go look at a meltdown video of the KAC. It lasted for about 500 and something rounds. The aero did better than it 🤣🤣 facts hurt, I know. Sig is the best one rn. The URGI did way better than the KAC as well
Your comments related to having it run full auto seems to be off. This URG was designed to direct attach directly to MIL Colt M4s which run both standard M4 auto triggers and Geissele SSFs like you have. The upper came with the BCG that has the A marked latch which is for mil triggers to work in auto. So why are you stating people have to put an LT BCG in the gun to make it work with full auto lowers?
So Glock, FN, Walther, Kimber, S&W, Ruger, Beretta and others all had a recall/upgrade program to address one of their models discharging on impact or slam fire. Yet Sig is the only one trashed for it; I love the double standards on here.
Sig Sauer and Nu-Sig are two very different companies making very different kinds of product and doing business in very different ways, sadly. As soon as it became american-owned they started racing to put their brand on contracts and their products in the toilet
What large US firearms company offers a complete suite of handguns, machine guns, and rifles that are actually fielded by MIL around the globe? And please do not say Smith and Wesson. Most people trashing Sig are just married to some other brand and cannot stand that their brand isn't winning global MIL/LE contracts.
Sig has been innovating and pushing hard to gain these lucrative mil/leo contracts. I’m a Glock fan boy by definition and even I admit that Sig is killing it. I own a few Sig’s personally and work with individuals whom carry them for their careers.
My buddy’s Spear LT showed up with a loose rail and barrel. Sig told him to tighten it down to their specs, lol. 500 rounds in it blew up. Sent in and Sig blamed it on Federal 5.56. Said it was too hot. Sig is an absolute joke of a company. They have way too many products and their QC is non existent. We now have reports from Mil armorers that the M17/18s are falling apart in service. Why people still make excuses for this company and purchased their products is hard to figure out. DD, Geissele, KAC, LMT, BCM, FN will outlast and outperform all this Gucci 💩
Please give us actual evidence that M17s/M18s are "falling apart". This will be good. Your buddy had a bad round it happens, if Spears were blowing up left and right, then Delta would not have selected it last year to replace/supplement their HK416s. But then again if you knew anything about anything, you would. Half the brands you mentioned prove you are a joke, how many countries militaries are fielding BCMs? What current FN rifle offering does FN have that can compete with the Spear-LT? Does DD even make piston AR15s? What LMTs have been adopted by SOCOM ?
what gloves do you recommend? Magpul Patrols are thinnest leather on the market. 14 mags were burned in the filming of this video on a 92deg day. If we showed ALL the shooting, would be a 35 min video
Please for future reference stop talking so much omg!!! Like we are gun enthusiasts why make a gun video to talk so much!!! Good info but damn you talk a lot bro
Holy talkie talkie. This will never see a mil contract fully. Sorry. Geissele, DD, and HK kill this. Lots of excuses for the gun not being 100 percent but that’s sig. and then we have that Oil filter 😂
