@Daniel Smith did you choose this over the Swampfox Arrowhead? I’m currently in the same boat right now. I like this and might get it later for a different rifle but I’m trying to get an LPVO for my Ruger Carbine in 57.

Honestly you could use this out to about 700 yards no issue. That’s the furthest I would personally go out with it, but I’m sure you could use it past that distance! More about the Indian than the arrow👍🇺🇸

Could be it’s still a very new scope, and sig didn’t really do a very good job announcing this line.. I had no idea there was a 1-10 until I found it by chance on PSA’s website🤷🏻‍♂️

@@SabertoothDefenseSystems Fair enough, I have kinda caught the itch for something more than a 1-6, this looks like a decent way to dip into that market without breaking the bank.

@@Aztal I’d say it’s definitely a good option. The fact that it comes with a mount is a big selling point for me, especially for somebody that just wants to get into LPVO’s or just have a decent scope to set and forget. I still use mine to this day. It’s been great for the money!

@@SabertoothDefenseSystems yeah it seems like one of the best bang for your buck optics, the only reason I am hesitant is I am running a gen 2 razor 1-6, so I am afraid it will have ruined my perception of a budget optic. I ran my first 2 gun competition a few weeks ago and really struggled with the half sized ipscs at 300y. I just keep thinking if I hat maybe a little more magnification I would have done better

@Ladrell Vinegar So glass quality for both is nearly identical in my opinion. I’ll be zeroing the scope this coming Monday, and I’ll be able to do some longer distance pokes so I’ll be able to provide a better comparison. If you want daylight bright illumination, go with the Viper hands down. But as far as function and glass quality they’re both neck and neck. I’d say at this point I’d still go with the viper, as it has a much longer track record, considering the Sig 1-10 is a very new optic. But stick around, because I plan on doing not only a video regarding zeroing, but also a long term review of its performance. There will also be a video of me using it on a hog and Ram hunt in the next month so stay tuned for that. That being said if you’re just a recreational shooter and shoot maybe once a month, definitely go with the SIG, as I’d say you get the most value. A 1-10x with a mount included? It’s a great deal.

If you ever owned a pair of Nike shoes It's pretty much the same thing to an extent. I held one at my local gun store and it was great. I'm in between with this one or just holding off and saving for a bit more up the price one. Other than that it was a clean review 👍🏽
