I didn’t really cover this in the video, but I do want to make a quick comment on the aesthetic aspect about her gameplay, since meta isn’t everything. Her animations are really cool, imo, and I love how they utilized more pink in her gameplay, despite being a Hydro unit. If you *are* pulling for Sigewinne, I wish you good luck on your pulls!
Sigh... When I heard she was a five star I was upset. We desperately need more Hydro 4 star and lore wise she's definitely a 4 star. Additionally, we definitely did not need a THIRD 5 star Hydro, On-field Bow user. (I know Yelan isn't entirely on field but she can be played as a DPS)
I remember seeing leaks that she was going to be a four star, and was changed to a four star for some unknown reason. I can't say how reliable that was, but if you ask me it does make sense considering we never got two five stars in a single patch this late in a patch cycle. Why Hoyo would make her a five star is a complete mystery though

@@Angelo_MS iirc she was always leaked to be a five star by reliable leakers since start of Fontaine. The four star "leaks" were more on the speculative side and from people who wanted her to be as such. I don't remember seeing any reliable leaker ever mentioned she'll be four star.
I am going to pull for Sigewinne for one main reason her animations are adorable. And there’s also the fact we might be a lot better when Natlan comes out. I will become the #1 Sigewinne main in NA
A simple fix would be to make her burst quickswap, and give her team a bond of life, which gives her team buffs+energy when it’s cleared. So you would skill, burst, which activates bond of life, then her burst healing would kick in off field, which would be able to clear the bond of life in about 3.5 seconds (you would use the rest of the supports here) and swap to dps and do big numbers with fanfare and skill buffs. Oh yeah also make the skill buffs be on field too. Since the buffs are associated with clearing bond of life as well, they can be counted per character, so you don’t need to worry about kuki eating furina’s stacks for example, and you’re incentivized to play her in a team where damage is more evenly split because of how BoL buffs and fanfare would be slightly staggered, but not to the point where she and furina together would be unplayable with an on field dps
I agree with wanting her to be a 4 star, I don’t understand why they didn’t go that route. She seems very underpowered for a 5 star with a burst that provides literally no value other than damage on a character who doesn’t build any crit. She also just seems to have a lot of weird things jammed into her kit. The heart broke tiles when holding ca, the cc with skill but it’s only two times and so short it’ll expire as soon as you switch, just overall very messy. These types of weird end of patch cycle headers generally get more value in the next region but I don’t really know how they could do that with Sigewinne since she doesn’t really excel in anything other than supporting Furina.
It’s probably a way for hoyo to grab our attention. People are dissing on her kit now and won’t pull, but maybe in a few patches she’ll be an amazing support for someone and this will cause people to wanna spend money and pull for her in order not to miss her banner again.
@@mikoluckk but I don’t understand how she’s gonna be good, no part of her kit is really that great. Even the off field skill Dmg bonus isn’t that great cuz it has pretty low stacks and her E has a high cd. Plus the same could’ve been said for Dehya and we all know how that went.
@@mikoluckk the thing is - i don’t see how she’ll become broken later if there’s nothing her kit excels at. kokomi and kuki both became strong because they had niches (consistent aoe hydro app + main dps potential and consistent EM scaling off field electro damage) i just don’t see what would make sigewinne so good- in a healing meta, kokomi, baizhu, and xianyun all have equal odds of being amazing; in an off field hydro app meta, kokomi, furina, yelan, xingqui; in a damage boost meta, bennett, xianyun, furina. sigewinne isn’t clunky because she doesn’t have a niche yet, she’s clunky because her kit doesn’t have a focus
She definitely feels like a 4 star and idk why they had to upgrade her. Not only was clorinde new in this banner, she 's also here unfornately wuth furina.
Its been 4 years since they're debut, hoyo is bound to make less engaging new characters now because of how many characters already fill in roles. Not to mention that the fanbase has always had a disdain for 5 star healers (kokomi, Baizhu).
@@jawn5661 You're saying this during Fontaine tho, which so far has had all amazing 5-stars. Hoyo definitely could have made Sigewinne coherent if they wanted too. You're telling me that the same company that made BoL, Life Drain, Navia, & Chevruse, all new mechanics with Fontaine that worked amazingly, yet somehow accidently made this incoherent mess? They understand balance well enough to make new artifacts a mere 5% better than existing ones for all prior characters and signature weapons that are only bis for the user. Sigewinne is no accident. Btw, Xianyun was a roaring success (3rd best selling 5-star of fontaine, after Furina & Neuv). Convenient you left her out of your 5-star healers.

I don't think Sigewinne will get Kokomi/Baizhu treatment in the future patches. They both had some unique core gameplay mechanics which was unnesessary or controversial on their releases, but Sigewinne has not. Maybe she will become more vialbe if we get more BoL characters (DPS-es or support who gives BoL and some buffs to their teammates, something like this), but this unique buff is very small part of her kit, so she will be something like a sidegrade/ maaaaybe part of a niche core like Xianyun-Furina-c6 Bennett if they will release suitlable characters (this would be really nice but now it's just copium). Skill dmg buff is nice but, as you mentioned in video, very short and not universal. I think she might be first really useless (in meta terms) 5* limited character :(
Sigewinne feels like she suffers from hoyos recent trend of making an artifact set or characters give a good buff but make it so limited that the majority of cast cant get use out of it. Songs of Days Past is the best example I can think of. If the set allowed the buff to be activated every 6 seconds OR everytime the user healed 15k HP then it'd be much more worth it. Sigewinnes' buff is actually good but the limit of only 10 activations ruins it for most characters. It's super niche and doesnt add enough to warrant pulling her.
I'll give you a better example of that: the bond of life artifact set can only be used by sigewinne, chlorinde and Arlecchino, the only way any other character outside of those three can even use that artifact set is ONLY by crafting the Fontaine craftable weapons, specifically the sword, catalyst and and bow, if the character in question has a bit of healing in their kit, like Xingqui, Barbara, Benett, or diona; all the better... If not they're going to have to find a workaround using characters that have healing.
Her kit is just flawed on a fundamental level. They've pushed her design to be a best-in-slot Furina healer. And in some aspects, she succeeds. She is very synergistic with Furina. But outside of hydro resonance, there are no shortage of healers, 4 and 5 stars alike, who can easily perform the exact same task. Baizhu, Charlotte, Xianyun, Jean, YaoYao, etc. And each of their elements provide different utilities. Then we look at her clunky skill enhancement function. The fact that each character shares stacks, rather than gets their own supply was an oversight. So now you have to be particularly careful with teambuilding to mitigate unescessary stack loss. The problem with her being a dedicated Furina buffer is that Furina is a sub dps/support unit. Not a main DPS like Itto, Raiden, Hutao, Nevilette etc. So it makes very little sense to build around someone who isn't dealing the majority of the teams damage to begin with. If you're looking to make Furina do more damage, then get her Weapon, and/or constellations. Her bond-of-life mechanic also feels completely out of place, and was added there just to make her bow trickier to us on other units. It doesn't actually DO anything. The omly thing she really seems to have going for her, is skill reliamt burst healing, which is good, and she's incredibly cute. But yea, she's a 4 star posing as a 5 star.
I think it’s important to note that end of chapter healers have notoriously been undervalued upon release then loved in the next one. Kokomi wasn’t good, then dendro was introduce. Baizhu was pointless, then Furina was introduced. Although I would never suggest for anyone to pull a character for what MIGHT be introduced, I think Sigewinne will follow that pattern. Either way i’m still going to pull for her just because I like her character design and gameplay. If I could change anything about her kit it would be to make her burst more similar to her skill, kind of like an emergency team-wide healing with little focus on damage but it would be almost instant
While yes her kit is set up for bond of life which will probably be a relevant mechanic in natlan (strangely since it was introduced by fontaine but whatever), baizhu and kokomi were always good they were just not understood by loudmouths and then that colored everyones perception of them. Also kokomi without dendro was def harder to see the all encompassing value of, and baizhu was valued for his overtime dendro app and reaction buffing the whole time.
Well, your point is reasonable, but I find it not really smart to believe, that something will happen to make your... Not the best character pretty good. It might be it, but also can be similar to dehya. Let's be fair, she's the worst 5-star after qiqi (aloy doesn't exist). So don't plan your wishes on your believes of what will come. Act only if you're sure that you will not regret it if future will not be same as you assumed.
I disagree, Kokomi was a very good unit from release, people just didn’t want to listen because they saw her Flawless Strategy passive and assumed she was awful, when in actuality she’s always been a versatile off field hydro applier, healer, buffer (ToTM + TTDS) who got even better with dendro and Furina.
what I like about Sigewine : -her burst is a damage love beam that scales of her HP ...That's it dunno if I'll pull for her I would have made her a burst damage unit instead of a healer/support
For me, she's been the most difficult skip yet for character design and lore reasons alone. I love the Melusines so much. I also really like seaslugs, characters with white, light pink, and light blue colors, hydro characters, and healers. However, I do not regret pulling Furina cons for one second 💙
Yeah i still remember when some people said weird things when baizhu first debute, like weak shield, slow dendro applier, slow e healing, high energy, short range.. but now he became the best healer. This is just another dejavu
I don't like the design, and the execution only makes it worse. If it were up to me, I'd make it so her skill gave the whole party BoL and then the burst healed and was buffed by the amount of BoL the character has, almost treating BoL as incoming healing bonus. I would also make the skill dmg bonus conditional to having BoL, not to being off-field nor to having certain party-shared stacks. This would not only enable fragment of harmonic whimsy and crimson moon's semblence and absolution on anyone, it would be more unique and make her more worth pulling for. Right now, there's just no way to justify her being a 5* we also never needed a dedicated furina support ever. It was obviously a very cashgrab idea at first but turned out awefull cuz I don't know what they were thinking.
I really enjoy Sigewinne so far. I have her and her weapon. her concept is cute and her animations are even cuter and she is legit the best with Furina but there is still that part of me that wishes she was more interesting. I always thought it would have been cool if she was our first dedicated Debuffer instead of yet another Healer with the kid model. Since Melusines perceive life different and her gun being more of a tranquilizer in the archon quest, it would have been neat if she slept or poisoned enemies dealing damage over time and slashing their elemental resistances. Maybe being similar to Nahida and Charolette and marking enemies with ticks of hydro instead of Dendro/Cyro. Idk there were just lot more outside the box things they could have done with the idea "Melusine Doctor" than just a legit doctor/healer imo. A cute exterior that hides a slu of deadly poisons underneath.
Sigewinne fix idea! Before reading this, just so you know, the goal of these changes is to change Sigewinne’s kit to be more fluent and not feel like 2 separate kits in one character. 1. Skill Cooldown: 18s-15s When the skill is cast, Sigewinne will keep a tally of the total amount of HP recovered by the entire team. 2s after the skill is over, Sigewinne will heal herself by 20% of the total healing received by the team. Additionally, Sigewinne’s healing will no longer be based on her Max HP. Instead, each bubble bounce will grant the team a 10% BoL. The final bounce will clear it, healing the off-field characters for 150% of the value of their own BoL + 7.5% of Sigewinne’s max HP. the active character instead receives healing for 150% of the entire party’s cumulative BoL + 7.5 of Sigewinne’s max HP. However, this healing cannot exceed 110% of Sigewinne’s max HP. If the healing exceeds any of the character’s respective max HPs, the excess HP will be turned into another BoL, that gives 1 stack of Convalescence for every 1,000 HP the BoL covers. The amount of Convalescence stacks can not exceed 10 from a single heal. The skill will also generate 2 droplets that when collected will give Sigewinne a BoL worth 10% of her max HP. 2. Droplets When the bubble finishes bouncing, all droplets will be given to Sigewinne, even if she is not on the field. These droplets grant a BoL. When this BoL is cleared, Sigewinne will gain 5 energy for every 2,500 HP that the BoL was worth before it was cleared, up to a maximum of 20 energy gained. 3. Convalescence When Sigewinne casts her skill or burst, she will give a set amount of stacks of convalescence to each party member based on her max HP. Using her skill will give 1 convalescence stack per every 3,500 HP she has, while her elemental burst will give one convalescence stack per every 2,000 HP she has. When these requirements are met, she will obtain 1 convalescence stack twice every 0.3s. Her burst will give her all the convalescence stacks she can get immediately. The maximum amount of convalescence stacks any character can hold at one time is 10. When dealing skill DMG (excluding Sigewinne herself) one convalescence stack will be consumed, increasing elemental skill dmg for the character that activated it for 1s. The increase in elemental skill dmg will be a flat bonus equal to 15% of Sigewinne’s max HP, up to a max of 10,000 bonus flat dmg. If this character deals elemental skill DMG twice, the Convalescence stack will be depleted. 4. Burst Immediately upon activation, characters will obtain an amount of convalescence stacks based on Sigewinne’s max Hp. Additionally, every second in the burst will heal characters for 20% of their max HP. When exiting the burst, all characters will gain a 30% BoL. Damage (over 5s): 50% HP (Around 2/3 of a neuvillette charged attack)
Sethos & Sigewinne are a statement that even on future version there will always be a lazy made character. Its my sad reality, that even characters that I really like. I come to hate because of it.
She feels like a future character like yae or dehya kinda. (Dehya being the only skill based off-field pyro for burning..) But I don't see what sigwienne will do unless something wasn't mentioned. She buffs off-field skill but her burst is too fast. She can't even use xingqiu/beidou/c6 fischl because her burst probably doesn't count as any na. It's either she's a new mechanic character (like a quickswap dps meta or something, maybe cooldown reduction or animation speed increases haha) Or she's a bad character.
I think your cone of vision is very narrow here. Fischl/Yae/Nahida is an amazing aggravate core, all have off-field skill DMG and is quick-swap. Sigewinne is an amazing fit here as a healer even if her stacks get used up fast it is still some DMG buff with a quick-swap on-field DMG because the worse type of healers are ones that doesnt offer anything other than healing, think Qiqi. The aggravate team I mentioned could become a great quick bloom team and yes, Yae is actually descent at proccing hyper-blooms. Sigewinne is a Role-consolidating unit for eg. Noelle, Kokomi, Diona where they might not be the best a single given thing but they can "consolidate" "to combine (a number of things) into a single more effective or coherent whole."--Google Hoyo cooked with Kokomi and Baizhu, let's not sleep a third time.
i think in my opinion she has potential to be a very unique on field dps ish unit now i feel that running a off field burst w a skill oriented unit would save those stacks more and her dps could be good as a hydro applicator idk well have to see im very excited
The only change I wish she had is some hp scaling on those hydro hearts she shoots when you hold her charged attack. Meta wise completely useless but would be nice and fun on open world if it did some amount of dmg
I think Sigewinne is going to be good in the future. Kokomi and Kuki were meh in Inazuma then great in Sumeru. Baizhu was meh in Sumeru then improved in Fontaine with Furina. I always pull for healers and think she is going to be someone that gets better with something they give us in Natlan.

for me not just sigeween but like why bol exist anymore. it was suppose to be a debuff that makes ur healer have a pain. Now its a mecanic that allows arlechinno to deal dmg, increase clorinde dmg and give sigeween energy. and bol cant even be clear with arlechinno and increase bol for clorinde. so what is the point of it, we can just name it another effect instead of bond of life
@@thatminer7174 i mean the fact its not bond of life anymore. u cant clear it with healing so it defeats the purpose of it and arlechinno bol doesnt even want a healer? and like this is like different versions of bol not even the og like its not the same mechanic. Alrlechinno bol just prevents healing while clorinde one converts healing to bol while the og bol just takes ur healing. So is it the same thing?
depends on type of game, healers are not supposed to be not playable... u get a characer to play with, not to switch to it one time and bench it for the next round of heals XD
I am 100% sure that she will be so much valuable at Natlan maybe via her low application, more healing to bond of life chars, e skill buff and also why would they gave her the ability to get energy frim her bond of life right ? They could just lower her energy needs. I believe that shows that she being able to get bond of life eill be important in the future. We just have to wait…
I'm not pulling for Sigewinne because I have Kokomi as a long term C6 project and I need to get Furina. But honestly I think Sigewinne would be better as a 5* if she granted the *party* bond of life to enable the BOL artifact set, much like Furina enables MH, so it could be more consistent for DPS that don't want to run the Fontaine craftables that have BOL in their effects or for DPS where the fontaine craftables DON"T have BOL in their effects (Polearm). I think that would have made her FAR more interesting. last edit: keeping her kit as is, I think if her burst grants the team bond of life after its duration would be the best of both worlds to keep her as a short burst unit and a support. I'm half expecting this to be in her constellations (I don't look at leaks and don't want to be told if I'm right or wrong)
Honestly, Spiral Abyss has been a net negative for how people see characters. Doesn't change how poorly designed some characters like Qiqi or Dehya are but you get the point.
Personally feel she shouldve been a 4 star support for Wriolestley Especially considering being a healer makes her a great compliment if he's E0 Maybe im missing some or shes built to work with natlan but BoL is fontaine's gimmick unless natlan has something similar im worried for her

Het kit of outfit is beautiful, easy 5 star! I am 5 star enjoyer, I liked her design but her kit is designed with the weapon, Xianyun have the same issue but she is incredible in her kit!

I kinda disagree with the package deal about kpkomi. If youre using her for damage tou get healing on the side. Yeah thats true. If youre using her for healing you get good damage in the side...? Like its not a dps loss for her best teams whete she functions as healer

Yes, I am 100% pulling even if there's NOELLE in my pain I am pulling Clorinde for her trailer and her courage to beat a imposter wishing my luck in 4.8 I really want Emilie (Sadly I skip Yelan that time, now she is locked in Chronicled wish), the sadness of my friends to see I am pulling a failed support with pretty design I still grateful with this healer I would like to not die to those Consecrated Beasts I hated to die in them!
There are a couple of npcs that give 3* weapons like the recurve. Have you talked to them yet? If not Nakano (Ritou) and Shirin (Ghandarva Ville) give them!
all healers have one problem and thats that bennet exists (kokomi is obviously better in dendro teams,furina is barely a healer) even if she provides better buffs bennet is a 4star and is easier to get I mean cmon his a 1.0 unit and is still ss tier with c1. unless her scaling for buffing is crazy high shes useless (healing is cool don't get me wrong but you can easily dodge all enemies in spiral abyss)
I ain't pulling Sigewinne but I have a hunch she may get better overtime. The reason is we had a somewhat similar "issue" in Star Rail that being Gallagher who is a hybrid healer/break unit. He was good, but debatably not the best 4 star healer cause he is kinda mixed. We had been getting more Break effect units as of late though and has moved the meta into a sort of Break attack meta. So I'm thinking Hoyo may introduce more Bond of Life junk that'll make Sigewinne either busted or abyss worthy in the future. Kinda cope, but that's what I'm feeling. That or just another Dehya situation.
