My first trip up in Virginia was an INSANE success. Had a wild time catching one of the craziest looking fish I've ever hooked in to. Hope y'all enjoy and get ready for more Virginia kayak fishing! #snakehead
With out asking you to give up your spot can you give me an idea were you are fishing in Virginia I live in NC. I have caught some Bowfin here and some real good wins in Florida. I have not gotten a snakehead yet would love to get to that onmy kayak.
He was worn out and I just reached under his gill plate, no biggie. But yeah, the net was back in the van unfortunately. I can never remember everything.
Hey RJ, Congrats on your first of many "Dragons"! I'm glad I could help. Of course, I prefer bow fishing them as you saw today as we pulled in with our custom jon-boat! (LOL)
Hell yeah man! I caught some reds and trout out that way when I was up there. Snakehead are a great sport fish. I gave all mine away to be eaten by other people though. I heard they taste great.
@@GTFOutside well good luck back in fl. im sure the snakes dont miss you. im hoping to try some new areas and find some honey holes like you found in this vid next summer. Tight lines!
Nice work! I live in Stafford and fish that area alot for snakeheads. When the snakehead scared you...that happens to me at least 5 times every time! I hate/love it!
Thanks man! Yeah they consistent scare the absolute crap out of me too lol. Since the video I’ve gone a ton of times and caught some real monsters out here I just need to sit down and edit all the video.
@@GTFOutside That's awesome. Yeah, if the rain holds up, I will be back this weekend hopefully. There's a tournament going on right now. Are you here visiting or moved up here?
@@lonellrodgers8539 I’m just up here until September. If you have a yak and want to come out with my schedule is pretty open man. I fish Acokeek mostly.
