In August, 2020 we went out on a road trip to see what Ontario had to offer. We ended up in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for 2-nights to explore the capital city of Canada. Here's a look at what we got up to on the third day of our road trip and day 1 of 2 in Ottawa.
- Mill Street Brew Pub
- Sightseeing (Supreme Court of Canada, Ottawa nature!)
- Parliament Hill
- Rideau Canal
- Sightseeing (monuments and parks around Parliament Hill)
- 3 Brewers
Stay tuned for our final day of the roadtrip where we head to Quebec to see a famous estate, go chasing waterfalls, and do more sightseeing in Ottawa.

The food you had on your road trip so far all looks so delicious. The flight of craft beers looks so good as well. And omg the ice cream! Apricot ice cream sounds heavenly. The view from parliament hill is gorgeous! 🥰

I have never seen Ottowa! Eating a lot of delicious food is not a bad thing! There are such beautiful buildings over there with views, can't wait to see Canada one day!

We get that renovations need to happen but we agree it is so sad when you are visiting and just get to see the place under construction. So cool that they can ice skate there in the winter, so fun!!

That spider monument near the start looked terrifying😅 love just winging it with no plans and just exploring (after food!) I swear everywhere we go in the world there is always some major section of a tourist attraction covered in scaffolding!

I had only seen photos of Ottawa during the winter so it was fun to watch this vlog during your summer/fall trip. The beer and food at the brewery looked AMAZING! Lovely area to stop and eat. The parliament buildings were beautiful too. I had no idea how stunning the architecture was there! Very cool :)

I’ve been to so many places in Canada, but have not made it to Ottawa! It’s a beautiful city! The canal and locks were cool! I love that they use it for ice skating in the winter.

You did well by just exploring and not having a plan. It is fascinating that that canal can freeze down and people can go there for ice skating. Those times are very rare now in the Netherlands. In the past this was common as well.

We can't wait to visit Canada again! We've been to Quebec but not to Ontario. The beer tasting looked so good and that sucks about the construction though 😔 it is so annoying. That just happened to us on our road trip 😩
