I just want to thank those who watched my video. I know everyone's subscription feed is flooded with the new Canon camera videos so hopefully this was a nice change of pace :)
Very nice aesthetics on your videos nice interaction with the model and fantastic shooting location! Canon and nikon didn't worth our attention anyways !!!
But how is the autofocus when adapting this to the Canon R tho?? 🤔🤔🤔 lol jk jk 🙌🏽 Loved the comedy in this video. You guys were hilarious! I’m still waiting on new native lenses from Sony but it’s fun to watch these 🎥📸🔥🤣
LoL I love her personality. You should do a video on how to pose models in like different locations. Like poses that will be good on the beach, studio, street. Cause to me the prose might be different to the location.
That shot under the bridge was killer. Excellent stuff man. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge, you've helped me massively since I took up photography a year ago. Keep on producing excellent content!
Love those poses, and those clicks? absolutely loved them. I wud love to watch a video on posing particularly with this person. She is really intelligent and natural when it comes to posing!
Absolutely really considering getting this lens now! I just want to truly thank you man. You have really helped me improve my photography. You are awesome for what you do. Thank you! Keep it coming!!
yo this 135mm is something i didn't think i needed but dannggg... that shot where she was close to the shop window looked ridiculously good at how well it separated the subject from the background.
I’ve had my Sigma 135mm Art fe mount for three weeks. The combination of sharpness, quick & accurate focus, compression and smooth bokeh make this the best portrait lens yet. Produces amazing images on my a73 and the compression is even more impressive on my a6500. Sold my Sony 85 1.8 because I prefer the compression & bokeh of 135. Also prefer it to my Tamron G2 Canon + MC11 for the better sharpness and more accurate focus of the Sigma 135.
The only "bad thing" is it's a beast of a outdoor lens sooooo gooooddd but inside a house like a bedroom you struggle to get a all body shot. But good to hear o Got mine yesterday 135mm from this video
Ever since the first video I saw of yours I have found it informative and entertaining. I am an introvert too so that's why I can relate to your videos better. Please keep posting content. I love this video and the pictures are great. I really want to get this lens too
That lens is clearer than my future... Such a great video showcasing this ridiculous lens. Manny you're a beast, and keep featuring this model in your future videos, I like her vibe!
It was nice to see you shoot a non-model. Makes us appreciate the work models do. It was fun to see her learn as you direct her. One of your funniest vids! :)
This one came together nicely. Glad to see the stuff under the bridge made it in here. Shows the capabilities of the lens and the depth/vision you posses as a street photographer. Great work!
Finally got a chance to put this lens through its paces. Shot a wedding today with this Sigma doing double duty, shooting posed portraits as well as replacing a 70-200mm for candids. It excelled. My new favourite lens, easily.
Thanks for the video, still a pleasure to watch. Special thanks to the model who is not a model but she was just perfect not taking herself too seriously. Cheers from France!
What a super model, her attitude was brilliant, she must be a dream to work with on any photoshoot, even amateur photographers could create some great shots with this model, she’s great.
That scene jumped at me like a sore thumb as well. Could've stopped the video and reshoot after u spat it out in a bin or tissue and keep it in your pocket for disposal later or keep it at the pouch of your mouth first.
love the 135mm length for portraits. It takes some trial and error to find scenes to work with it, but once you do (as you Many clearly shows) it creates amazing shots. I was always an 85 person until getting a 135 ...but once I got that it's hard to go back. Love the look.
Just bought the Sigma 135 f1.8 based on your vid. Astonished. I own a lot of high end lenses, but nothing with the sharpness of this lens!!! It’s razor sharp. I don’t know how Sigma could have accomplished this? Also, get a contract to photograph this model in the future. If this girl doesn’t shit herself up, she can become famous! Awesome girl. Incredible!
you're my favorite photographer man! love your videos!! by the way, you should make make a tutorial on how to to give instructions to your models, I think that's something I kind of struggle with.
Wow… from what ive seen these 135mm lenses really start to shine when you give them room (ie when the background is open). Manny really seems to make the best of this focal length, amazing images! I want one NOW… :)
So Mr. Ortiz... I want to invest on a new Bokeh master lens. So after watching this video now i'm torn up between the Sigma 105mm 1.4 or this Sigma 135mm 1.8. Which do you prefer
Thanks again Manny of great video, that lens looks sharp and damn fast AF and how it handle eyeAF too, photos looks so nice, good choises you do with backrounds and lights,of course need say, that model is so beautifull with her so nice eyes and lovely smile, also her personality was happy and not too serious, keep going good work, thanks
Thanks for another informative video Manny. Agree, the compression on this lens is just special. I've been shooting for many years and one of my all-time focal lengths way back in the day was a 135mm - forgot how much I miss it.
“I can see into the future with this lens.” That line so sums me up right now. Back when you released this video I watched this because your pics are 🔥 and obviously cuz Kayla is gorgeous lol but now that I’ve moved on from my Canon T6i to a A7iii, this video means so much more to me and I can see myself in the future, owning this lens. Thanks again for the content Manny. Keep it up! Oh and keep bringing Kayla with you sometimes too lol
