That’s great! I don’t have the other lenses, but I have been very impressed with the Sigma. For the price, it’s the best on the market. It’s on sale right now amzn.to/43ryiRh The link above has an Amazon affiliate link.
@@johnmorrisproductions thank you John! I also have decided to consider the RF 70-200 F/2.8 because of its compact size and native lense. But it's so expensive. And the RF 70-200 f/4 which is in my price range but I fear I'd miss the extra light/background blur
Yes, the RF lens is great but expensive. f4 isn’t the brightest, but it isn’t bad. I would recommend the Sigma because it is bright and cheaper. If you’re ok with using an adapter, and the size.
First off great video! What are your thoughts on buying a lens for a newer photographer when trying to decide between the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM vs. Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 sport. My wife plans to use it primarily for video footage of our son playing lacrosse, but plans to use it for photos as well. The price point difference between the two appears to be around $600 to $800. Based on my research the sport has weather sealing and 11 aperture blades vs 9 blades on the EX, along with some other minor differences (lens length and diameter). Wondering if it makes sense to spend the extra money on the sport version as it would be primarily for sports. We plan on pairing it with a Canon EOS R10. Thanks for your input in advance!
I would recommend the one that I have, it is a much newer lens. So build quality, auto focus, and image stabilization are going to be a lot better, as well as the features you mentioned. It also comes in an EF mount, I wasn’t able to find an EF mount for the old lens. Here’s an affiliate link for the lens I have: amzn.to/3Z4rEin Here’s the link for the EF-RF adapter that you will need if you don’t already have one: amzn.to/3P0v01r If you have any more questions, please let me know!
Definitely, I have tracked people running, birds and other wildlife. And it performs quite well! I have been using it with the adapter on my Canon EOS R7 hand R8. If you have any further questions, please let me know!
Great job! I have a few questions. I am looking for a multi use camera to use on Sunday mornings to capture pictures and video of our service, but i would also like to use it to film and shoot outdoors while I hunt. What would you recommend?
@John Morris Productions I have SD cards but no lenses. I am all new to this so just trying to get a realistic idea what I am getting myself into. Haha.
