Kratos literally mentions that he has nothing more to hide at the end of 2018, then we see more power during Thor's first encounter with Kratos. He fights a whole Mythology while holding back and wins.

@@panimho Well that's his back story.He didn't kill others due to it though.If he did that then we can say he's broken. But he still choses to help people and save the city so he is good.If you are saying that he's broken because he's being too dark to his villains because of his childhood then I can understand.But being dark is necessary for Batman because he knew that his villains would not listen in any other way like Superman's way.Especially for mentally broken villains like Joker and Riddler.
