I stop talking to people all the time. It’s EXACTLY because I would rather be on my own than spend a second longer of a precious & finite resource-time-with superficial or ego-threatened people. Occasional social gatherings are fine to deal with all types of personalities, but longterm close relationships are few and far between. I’m very picky about how I spend my time. As I age I’m getting pickier when it comes to who I will allow to be present in my life.

Because we have no tolerance for games, manipulation, fakery, gossip, or lies. And unfortunately a LOT of people do these things. So we are often in our solitude because we're not willing to compromise our values or self-respect just to have people around.

Oh my. This is me. I am so quick to cut someone off and act as if I never knew them, especially if they disrespected me, or hurt me. What I’ve learned for my own peace of mind, I can be forgiving, but I don’t forget, and then I keep you at arm’s length because you will never have another opportunity to make me react to your actions.

I had to cut off a very close relative. It was painful, but even they can be jealous and say painful things. I would rather be by myself than deal with people who don't have your best interest at heart, be it family or friends. Because I will always give the best and want the best, I only want real people with real love in my circle.

Hello! I'm newly introduced to the sigma ideology, I've always been a deep thinker and have paid the hefty price it takes. Having just discovered the sigma factor, I need help, I've made this random choice to contact someone more in the know, which means you're the random contact! I relate very strongly to the sigma nature, it makes sense to my journey and the pain I've been through but unfortunately, I've been through it all alone, now I've no doubt you understand the concept of mutual respect and therefore I've no problem if you choose not to communicate with me, I automatically respect that, but if you would care to proceed in a discourse with me to help me understand the sigma ideal more, I'd greatly appreciate it, I know this may sound a little bit odd, but I'm a man now approaching the age of 70 and that makes it sound like I should have got my act together by now, but as you will no doubt know yourself, walking along this road all alone is the hardest, longest route that never really ends, all my life I've been looking in the wrong places for the answers, now I believe this is the Godsend I've been seeking out all my life, all it needs now is a counterpart to share thoughts with, as I've no doubt you'll understand I don't hold you accountable in any way to respond positively to my request, free will (as you already know) is imperative, all I need from you is your free will to reply yes or no and I shall respect either decision. Thank you for reading my text and I look forward to your reply, even if that it is in refusal to respond for I know it will be a honest answer, so I thank you now in anticipation of your response!

Yeah same here. I didn't cut my sister off completely but I don't know why she doesn't want to see me anymore when my (second) husband died. I knew she was jealous of me before. It's like I can only go see her when I remarry. Oh well, I don't need her.

As a sigma woman, once I cut ties, they are cut forever. There are no second chances… you don’t get to come back. Whatever lesson that person has learned from our severed relationship, move forward in life with that lesson and allow it to benefit them in future relationships. But I have no time to circle the block hoping that a person’s actions will not be on repeat. I’m good on that. That’s not logic to me.

I stop talking to people after trying to make things work. Also, I let them know that I will go into contact cero mode from that moment on. Most exs in my life did not believe me. This is quite accurate. My space & self preservation are of utmost importance to me, even over social connections. If someone's presence is toxic in my space it's simply time for them to go. When I don't have a certain level of peace I go into protect- mode instinctively and consider anything getting in the way a threat.

@@eternalstoicism Both communications, understanding& being aware is the key , u can talk all u want but if folks don’t tap into this it makes no sense.Pple also don’t know what they don’t know,they are just operating on their current capacity, most pple also never nurtured their traumas as a child or older because they havent acknowledged it or they sometimes don’t know why they haven’t or some are aware but due to ego, dysfunctional engineering they make justifications & use mechanism to suppress, normalize the behavior,so some pple age but haven’t grown.,It all varies, its not a fixed or specific on 1 topic.

I’d rather walk away than say something I could never take back because as a sigma I see past the superficial presentation and can cut with my words which is such a waste of time and energy… not only do I want to to preserve my energy by not getting into long dramatic discussions but I simply see someone for who they really are and now I need to determine if and how I want you to be apart of my life moving forward so I take a moment for mental clarity

But don’t abuse people’s kindness for weakness because it is not ever because someone cares doesn’t mean they will continue to tolerate any action that ultimately tries to harm another and have no problem with finding resolution to stop it being inflicted further but open communication be key to creating peaceful resolution unless people go pass basic human rights and dignity would those individuals tolerate the behaviour they inflict so why would you do it to someone else then people have an issue when you remove yourself without interfering with their life when they need to reflect on the actions and understand the why we are here to evolve as human beings not to behave before we knew better future generations need to be lead by example of how to respect each other and debate differences rather then creating wars through toxic actions be it relationships or not liking them not following the crowd we are all capable of great things yet some choose to be narrow minded which stops growth in any format or have opinions without factual information to back up claims n don’t respect the right to privacy yet they are first to complain perhaps if they put more time in their self rather then criticism of others society would be a better place for all and brighter for the next generation but free will should be respected and equality to all treat others as you wished to be treated but draw a line when it takes a toxic turn it’s no better then Salem witch trials of old find peace in being you before you influence others by invalidated claims and be strong enough to stand your ground when the toxic try’s to eradicate the peaceful caring people of the world

She will have given plenty of warning. We always talk honestly. There will have been several conversations before giving up because she isn’t being heard. We don’t just cut people off at their discretion depending on the circumstances obviously. We get drained very quickly if it goes too far so we have to get out of there with a clean cut to survive.

😁made me laugh. I am INTJ and sigma. Also Aquarian and I do take my distances quick if needed and I have cut contact with many toxic family members who were poisoning my life. I have very few true friends and will always be there for them. But if they stab me in the back, I am quick to take my distances. I don’t give second chances, people don’t change. Ever. My father was a nasty alcoholic and my mother a terrifying abusive malignant narcissist. They never changed. I had a horrific childhood. I value my peace of mind these days after the dramas of my childhood.

When my first love cheated on me for the first and last time, he could not face me surely knowing me he went to hide from me. He did not even say a thing I felt it and confronted him. Eye in eye I eventually broke up. I cried for years alone but I had the satisfaction that I had done the right thing. I am still not married yet 10 years later, but he keeps trying to get back and swear that losing me was the worst thing that had happen to him. I can go back to him, but I know by experience that people don't easily change. As a logical and intelligent woman, I can't never allow him to see that emotional side of me again better die before that happen so yes, a sigma woman never turns her back. Hell no!!!

I'm a Sigma inverted male. Impact. This is been hard. My whole life and I just 7 years ago, figure dot out. Why? I'm like that same way. I cut people right off. They always think that I'm odd. But my inner peace, my self-awareness and long spells of being alone has made me stronger. But as I get older, it's very lonely and I think maybe I found me a Sigma. Female, and I think we can respect each other's space. And we talk and I think it'll be okay. But it's very hard to live with a Sigma. Female to be a Sigma mail photos. Type of people when you get them together if you have a true love. It can be for all eternity because you both don't cross the boundaries and give them time to breathe in space. And like you said, don't cling, don't be clingy. Then you can probably have a great life with a Sigma female. But it's very, very, very, very hard. It's like chest and every movie you take. You have to be very careful. Be very aware, have empathy understanding. And we don't tolerate lies and. Betrayal. And trying to take away our trust. Or trying to destroy us. We will end that real quick. And we will not go back to that person ever. Somebody said to me one time. It's like I just threw them off of a cliff and walked away. Weather ghost for your mental health and you're well-being. You have to take drastic measures. That's why when you're in a relationship. In the beginning, you need to make boundaries. And don't think you're gonna cross boundaries. If you're female on a Sigma, because you won't and you'll lose every time. 😊😎 That's why I've been celibate and alone for 14 years. I value real love, real true love. And I know it when I see it.

It’s NOT an abrupt cutoff….IF you’re paying attention! Think of what it takes to push a monk to the point of flipping out. That takes a lot, over a long period of time, that is NOT abrupt. The typical asshole only sees the consequence while ignoring the path that led to it. Speaking up is one thing, and I shouldn’t have to be required to repeat it so many times. It’s not my job to hit the alarm lights and whoop the whistle whenever I or my boundaries get tread upon, especially if they’re aware of what they’re doing. If it’s out of thoughtlessness, then that is selective; they preemptively forfeit a basic requirement to keep me around, and it was always a foregone conclusion🤷🏻‍♀️

Gotta agree with the majority of the comments and not the video here. If i truely cut someone out if my life it's because I'm done with the toxic BS and they're dead to me. There's a difference between this and just lapsed contact with people who I still consider to be friends but who I may not have spoken to for years. Those relationships can always be rekindled.

First i see how far they try to use me. My ex boyfriends sister litterally said. " Alan said, Use her(me)up because when she gets another car shes gone." I had to dump her because she was using me as a caretaker. She has lupis and is morbidly obese. I was coaxed and guilted into a whole lot of labor, from cleaning her house ..catching mice, fetching groceries to taking her dogs to the vet. She didn't know i heard her when i was outside, and she said "Dumb btch" when i went outside to smoke. She forgot the door was open. I showed her what a dummy i was. I flipped it on her by making her feel like a fool when she wanted a ride to the doctor. Ive never been to her house since.

Another reason why a female person may cut you off: She witnessed you being a presumptious know it all who believes she has the ability to detect lies by only looking at a person who might be telling them among the 2 people in a conflict. When that female sees a person being judgmental towards another female person they are in conflict with. Or in another situation a female person might cut a person they are only acquainted with when they see them being part of a couple both of whom are airing their dirty laundry in public whjile the male person in that conflict is rich and so he then starts getting way too much sympathy from people who only love money most.

I dont think this is at all accurate. As someone labelled a sigma female by many things which resonate , I have to say I put up with a lot. Try to be helpful. One day, a switch turns off in my head , and I am done. And I mean done. There is no going back. All relation beside that intention are only social interaction protect by social norm . Yes. I have had to cut people off who were too insistent or wanted to get too close. This is different from cutting people off who crossed boundaries or did something terrible. I am glad to see that I am not unusual for cutting people off, which it seems I do more than a lot of other people. Thank goodness for Sigma sisterhood.
