Не соглашусь, в фильме их северных всё-равно показали шаблонными злодеями просто сделали это более тонко чем янки, да и янки нас тоже уважительно показывали злодеями пока мы сами не перестали себя уважать снимая штрафбаты и фильмы Михалкова по "секретным документам"

@@RhaegarDefense Well, what end to start at? Their air crews are horribly undertrained, the airframes are ancient and likely not properly maintained (same applies to the guns, ammuniton for said guns and any possible air to air ordenance). The air crews if trained are trained according to old doctrine and the missiles if functional have no chance against US missiles like the AMRAAM and AIM-9X. The F-15 Eagle can carry 8 iirc AMRAAMs which would mean that entire flight of MiG-29s would get popped from over 100km out. You might be asking why they wouldn't evade or use countermeasures, maybe even fire back? Well, evading advanced missiles like the AMRAAM is horribly difficult especially given the expecionally good RADAR the later and still good RADAR the earlier variants have. Countermeasures similarly have little effect nowadays, especially given how old and unadvanced the countermeasures their MiG-29s would have. Firing back is a whole other can of worms: the MiG-29 is really only able to carry two long range missiles, and the main problem with those is that the Soviets couldn't make RADAR systems that could match the Western alternatives especially later on, thus resulting in planes like the MiG-29 just dying, oh and supermanouverability won't save you from getting slammed into by a missile.
@@RhaegarDefense Because the F-15 is an Air Superiority fighter. Its designed and used in high altitude CAP from long distance with radar and IFF interrogator, and plenty of fuel to do so, its incredibly unlikely that MiG-29's with low ranged Missiles would even get close to F-15's in the sniper phase. And even if somehow they did get close enough, they would already be counter attacked by direct fighters like F-16s or depending on the time period F-35s most likely.
