Correct. Love is "actually" always selfless, from both sides. Of course, reality often looks different because certain traumas, characteristics or the EGO come into play.
My standpoint; Love can a weakness but only if you let it be, both people need boundaries and respect for one another not only just trust. Goals and accomplishments are an entirely different thing which I think can be achieved with manageable time, discipline, and practice!

At some point in time no one respects a broke man not even your MOM. For example a son who may look after his mother in her old age, care for her but is broke will still be less important to a mother or parent than the son who earns well but only sends paychecks to his parents, has no time for them. Even a man's parents ditch him for being a brokee not just a girl

There's nothing more beautiful than finding a good woman and devoting yourself to her and receiving equal devotion and love back. If not for experiencing true love, why else are we here on this planet? Don't settle but also don't take a great woman for granted either.
