I was about to sell my R7 and R6 MII for a Sony camera. I guess I will wait now and see what happens... Canon better open full frame, I would like an affordable telephoto lens with a lower aperture. 10k - 20k for their primes is ridiculous, not to mention out of my price range as a hobbyist.

It's good news for R7 shooters. Really hope Canon green lights full frame affordable sigma lenses, they've been dragging their feet for so long now.

Thinking of selling M50 Mark ii for R7. I have EFS 18-135 and 55-250. Will be selling M mount sigma 16 and Viltrox 23. Have old EF 28-70 L 2.8. Thinking new Sigma Rf 10-18 and Rf 18- 50 2.8 will be great upgrades. Thoughts? Love your channel. Den from D2destinations.

I don’t think you will regret moving to R7. It’s an amazing camera packed with tons of features. I use mine 2yrs later for my talking head videos and when I want more of a reach with my lenses. Thanks for watching.
