I think the reason behind Greatswords fragility is their relatively low HP per entity. Har Ganeth Executioners have the exact same issue. HP per entity is 76 for greatswords, 84 for executioners and to make it relative, 90 for undivided chaos warriors.
To be fair, in the lore they can't just mass produce steam tanks, there's only something like 8 in existence and they lost the know how to build them or something along those lines. Not sure about the logistics on the rockets, but they're basically civil war era rockets so not super high tech. Cannons are just standard cannons they don't really factor into this, like having access to canons and gunpowder doesn't provide an alternate way to transport stuff.
@@drafezard7315That was a dumb 8th edition retcon on the tanks, they're hard to make and use, but in prior lore the Empire wasn't that stupid. They're supposed to be at the forefront of new inventions, yet despite making mechanical horses they can't replicate an engine from 500 years ago (the inventor lived in the 21st century, the Empire lasted until the 26th).
@@lich109 How much crazy technology do we have now irl? And yet somehow we can't replicate concrete the Romans made 2000 years ago. Work that one out. The Empire don't look that dumb now, do they? Also, man, you must really hate the Imperium of man .
I wonder if an arch lector on foor might be a bit more effective against tzeench. a similar price point, but has some more support abilities you could splurge on and he does magic damage vs demons.
Do War Wagons have any effective counter aside from cannons/bolt throwers? Their combination of high mass, speed, and missile strength means they just seem to cruise at will and pelt anything that tries to pursue in melee. Double Snow Leopard with their 100 speed, anti-large and frostbite? lol
I don’t know, fell like they would have a hard time landing a hit on them unless they are tarpited. But then you risk alot friendly fire so still not great.
