please share and help us raise awareness of our CP warriors, Today me and Christian have signed The climb by the amazing Miley Cyrus which I’m dedicating to my brother Christian, the lyrics are perfect for him and today. We are wearing green as it is World CP Day Christian had a severe HIE brain injury when he was stillborn at birth and needed 24 mins of resuscitation then his brain was cooled and he was placed on a ventilator with less than 1% chance of coming back off it. He is our miracle and not only went on to survive but to continuously beat the odds given to him. At 6 mths old he was diagnosed with quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, we knew it was coming but that didn’t make it less of a tough and emotional time. We have never put limitations on Christian and I love that this song focuses on it not being important how fast you get to where you want to be it’s the journey and getting there in the end that matters. Christians Cerebral Palsy may slow him down but it will never stop him living life to the full. Sometimes we may wait months or years for a milestone that other people would take for granted or consider small but wow i can’t explain the feeling when he achieves it, the waiting and the sheer determination makes it so incredibly special. He really is my little warrior and miracle and he makes us all prouder then proud all day 💚💚💚
