I’m my 27+ years law enforcement experience and emergency equipment management I’ve never been a fan of the large focused round diode appearance companies lean on for visor bars. Rather this version is more efficient, brighter, cleaner looking, and effective. I would prefer to see this exact model available with driver and passenger side visor mounting and flash shield.

I personally agree with you that these lighting optics are much more attractive and effective! However, one of the issues we encounter when dealing with this style of lens is that it is very bulky. It is difficult to fit a lens that is so tall (height-wise) in an internal visor form factor while also allowing enough clearance for safe viewing of the road. Generally, linear style lenses are possible, but the fact that the light must pass through glass (and sometimes tint) makes TIR optics much more sensible.
