Transfer Poles are a great alternative to wall-mounted grab bars. They can be used in the bathroom to get out of the tub or shower or get up from the toilet. Grab poles are also great alternatives to bedside handles and can be used as standing aids to get up from a couch or chair. The Sure Stand Security Pole comes with two curved handles that can be placed anywhere on the pole. Additional add-on accessories are available such as a trapeze, horizontal grab bar, and swiveling tray table, to customize your pole to fit your needs. The Sure Stand installs by creating tension between the floor and ceiling, which means it can be installed anywhere with ceilings heights ranging from 7 to 10 feet. For ceilings 10 to 12 feet high, there is an extension piece accessory available for purchase. The Sure Stand Pole works with vaulted or slanted ceilings, however we require the pole to be attached to the floor and ceiling with the provided hardware in such cases.
