Honestly, the scariest part of this video was at about 6:16 where in one second you can see this really large wedge tornado, and the next second it gets completely wrapped in rain and is just invisible. Please stay safe out there and thank you for this awesome footage.

The way you all shoot telephoto is so hard to find. Gives everything much better scale to how these events feel. Feels like 80% of chasers shoot wide lens, and it’s mostly more boring. Keep doing what you’re doing. Reminds me of how the 🐐 @JimEdds shoots.

I agree but did you hear any of them alert emergency services? I hear no sirens and nobody calling th8/ in? Maybe I am behind the feed.

Were you guys chasing in/around the notch? We were on the southern edge of the meso and our view was totally obscured by rain! Bummer!

Yes, we were positioning in the notch. Just as we went east to try for outer circulation on that N/S highway, we noticed the wet RFD carving around so we just stayed tucked back in there.

Did you alert emergency officials? I didn’t hear that, nor did I hear sirens. I appreciate you getting footage but do not hear anyone being notified!!!

Relax Rachel, this is an edited video. NWS Quad Cities was notified of an ongoing damaging tornado, by us amongst about 50 other chasers and observing emergency services, during the event. I have already responded to one of your other THREE comments about this on this video, lol.

Good footage I subscribed my husband and I lost everything March 14th in Ohio Tornado never been threw nothing like it in my life we hid in a closet but so very thankful we are alive today
