I'm surprised I don't get infections more often with my hyperhidrosis but I guess my feet and hands are just used to it. When I was on vacation I did get a yeast infection on my ankle from the warm climate and my immune system was probably overwhelmed by other factors.
Hello Dr Dray. My name is Sam and I have ocd and wash my hands a lot because of it. I use the original dove beauty bar to wash my hands everyday. I saw online that because of its neutral pH level that it is not good to use after going to the bathroom and not a good soap substitute. Hi Dr. dray, can you please do a video on skin fungal infections? I had one last year and it was so horrible for my self esteem! I live in Texas and I know in Houston it’s so humid and perfect conditions for fungal infections to grow. Fungals are so stubborn!! I’d appreciate it! Especially signs, symptoms, how it may look like on dark skin, and of course solutions. Thank you!
@@CatVonMe54 yes it is common but it wasn’t the one that I had, and there’s lots of them, I tried these methods and creams and they didn’t work that’s why I want Dr. Dray to go more into depth on the different kinds of yeast and fungus that grow and can cause problems on our skin
This came in perfect timing. I'm thirty-seven and just recently had a hysterectomy, bad uti, and two weeks of antibiotics. Now dealing with bad intertrigo in my crack. Sorry, tmi. I am a manual wheelchair user too so that doesn't help either. Using baby butt paste to hopefully clear it up quickly. My health isn't great either. I take a pre and pro biotic. Also, have been dealing with iron deficiency anemia for about six years. The past few years I have had to go in the hospital for weekly iron infusions practically every week for the last two years.

I use the fragrance free summers eve & vagisil brand washes. Not because I have odor I'm worried about, but because they feel like they get everything super clean down there. I haven't gotten an infection from them yet.. Idk what else to wash my bits with! Just water doesn't leave a "clean" enough feeling to me.
I believe I had this issue secondary to dyshydrosis. I had read somewhere that epsom salts helped. Not sure if it's true, but I stopped getting the really thick yellow-ish skin in areas where I had dyshydrosis since I started a weekly bath with epsom salt and soaking my hands in between if the dyshydrosis flares.
Just turned 50, been on birth control since 14 for PCOS. My gynecologist stopped the birth control due to my age. She's recommended nothing to replace it. My hot flashes have greatly increased. It's only been a month and a half, I now have Intertrigo. I guess I'm elderly now...
Besides HRT I take menopausal support by Natures Craft (Amazon), I use maca root by maju superfoods store (Amazon), menopause moisture crème by Better Health Naturally sold by Daystar (bio identical progesterone) Hope this helps. 😁

Water only? I use Dove Bar... Maybe that's why I keep getting recurrent balanitis? It's not alkaine pH, but if you recommend just water, maybe I should stop using Dove.
Do smelly pubic hair and thigh folds signs of yeast infection? The odoe down there is quite abnormal.. And what causes the breath to stink even when the mouth is always cleaned well and have no yeast infection?

Thank you for your information 🙏 I have been in construction since 2015 meaning 8 months out of sun,wearing long sleeves,pants YES PANTS a backlava neck and face and yes sunblock.applied alot. Men to know so do woman that even wearing long sleeves and pants your still prone to skin cancer. TRUST ME I have 2 on my arms and counted 7 on my legs.please make a video on this as phoenix az is hot,and like Texas moist during monsoon.

Kind of weird , I bought and Ivory body wasch , it is very mild, and got an yeast infection. So Now its just a hand wash. Than I bought a dial body body wash very strong wash and I got nothing, no yeast infection… never bothered me.

As I'm from rice toner has niacinamide but I'm Using skin 1004 sunscreen which already has niacinamide, so incorporating this toner will be suitable if my main concern is to get hydration and tackle dullness with my prescriptions?
