U are very right doctor, am a mother to 4 kids .qtn .its always known that when u are in labour the baby gradually stops kicking in the womb but l experienced this on one baby l got a very serious back ach, no any other sign and the baby in the womb was too active playing ,going to hospital they checked me when l was in labour. Its normal for women to spit during the early stages of pregnancy. Usually, it decreases by the 4th month up words though some few women remain like that till delivery
There are several causes of backache including PIDs, Cystitis, Vertebral disc prolapse, Syphylis etc. I would advise you to check with your doctor to rule out those causes
