I’m always told that I’m not “open minded” because I’m a christian... I tell them I was “open minded” for the first 44 years of my life... I read all kinds of books on all types of topics.., They helped me to erect so many false beliefs in my head.. Then on 7/29/12, I met Jesus Christ and I accepted His INVITATION TO AN ABUNDANT LIFE... He,thru the WORD, helped me to destroy those false beliefs by introducing me to the TRUTH.. I re-examined all my beliefs with the word n they fell short.. I have been telling everyone including christians that they must be aware of what they are allowing into their minds because it can cause irreparable damage or to cause u to “fall away” from the TRUTH..., Great teaching as always JC, u just confirmed to me what the Holy Spirit has taught me...

Great teaching once again, Joshua Chevez. This teaching is so true because when I belonged to a WOF church for many years I used to falsely think that walking in love meant silently being polite and not being offensive. Just letting my light shine and others would want the Jesus I love and serve would be enough . However, when I started listening to discernment ministries like yours and a few others, at first I thought you guys were divisive and a bit too harsh, but I was still drawn to watch because I couldn't find fault in the content of what you taught. It's scripturally accurate and always backed up with documentational and video proof. Praise God my eyes opened to the Truth. I am now never silent when I see doctrinal error being taught and I speak to friends and family alike about truth. Realising that telling the truth, even if it offends the person, is ultimately walking in love because I always consider where they would spend eternity . May God richly bless your ministry for His Glory, amen 🙏

I understand the importance of watchmen, for many people are being led astray. So I appreciate the work you do in that area. For me, these types of videos are more beneficial. Where the focus/teaching is on Jesus, the Word. I think you shine best when your love and passion for the unapologetic truth of His Word is on display.

I once asked an elder how will l know if l have done enough good works to get into heaven and he replied you won't know. Now l am out of the cult and saved. Joshua, I appreciate your diligence in this ministry, calling out those who have veered from the truth. I've been a Christian most of my 67 years. I was always confused with verses that seemed to contradict each other. In the last couple of years, I heard about Dispensationalism, but quickly dismissed it because nothing can be good that ends with "ism". And, also, I had studied cults for many years, for several reasons but one reason, I just wanted to make sure I didn't end up in one. But the more I looked into dispensationalism, the more I couldn't find anything unbiblical about it. I realize many Christians look down their noses at this stance and even calling us down right heretics. Now that I've been into it for 2 years now, I can honestly say my knowledge of the bible has grown exponentially. I'm sure you have heard of dispensationalism and have already formed an opinion of it, but I beseech you to look into it.

When I first started watching your videos, I was like "this guy's a hater", but after seeing enough truth exposed, now I totally get it. lol

Good morning from SC. I used to listen to Paul Washer quite often but as I've grown in knowledge I tend to stay away from any teacher/preacher that claims affiliation with a denomination. Jesus said Do everything in my name. He is the head of "the church," while most denominational churches are founded by a man and in some cases even named after them.

Wow, this is what I am telling people even when evangelizing for the fact that people should base their faith solely in the Bible. Thanks for pointing out that all denominations are diluted, water down and compromised. Another great message, thank you!

This is incredibly true and scriptually sound. It is some of the very things that God has been speaking to my heart pertaining to the new age church that is not the True Church. This man of God is spot on with what he is saying under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

As an infant in Christ, this message served as both fruitful and poignant. It is a reminder that while I believe I can see through many of the agendas hidden in the church today (recovering Catholic), there is still residual from false doctrines and social influence. I realize now why I struggled with the passages you covered in this video. Being a woman it is often painful to read the Bible when it feels as though “The Harlot” is judged the harshest and most violently. I do not identify with the prostitute, so I had difficulty navigating these brutal outcomes towards the sin of a woman over the sin of a man. I had completely missed the message because of the way society force feeds us the ‘inequality of sexes’ propaganda. I was not reading though spiritual eyes. I often pray to reconcile the emotion evoked when trying to understand these teachings. Thank you for delivering this message💗

Wonderful teaching. I have been laid low by self-confidence in my Christian walk several times. It takes a long hard climb to regain where I fell from. I have learned that only constant, daily meditation, memorization, study and prayer can keep me from falling into sin. My flesh is weak and tricky.

Great video, Joshua... Thank you for explaining to men that the "immoral woman" is a metaphor for false religion in the church. Religion has always been likened to a woman, whether godly or not, but many men miss this. They forget about the Church as being the "Bride of Christ" which is an obvious metaphor, but will use the metaphor of the immoral woman as an opportunity to condemn women; including godly women in their congregations! One of the commenters below did this very thing; he indicated that Eve was the first example of the immoral women, and suggested that she was guilty of fornication with Satan. This is, of course, the Serpent Seed doctrine, which is aptly named since it's a doctrine of Satan! The men who miss the metaphor of the "immoral women" completely miss the valuable truth that you have brought out in this video. God bless you!

Excellent video. You are right that so many preachers and ministries start out right but because of the desire for growth or security they tend to modify the message so as to make it less offensive and more appealing to the world. I look at Billy Graham and his early crusades which were so accurate and powerful, but as he got older and more popular he really toned down the message. He use to always say "the Bible says". Later on in many of his interviews he would say, " well I think". Preachers and all of us need to be faithful and steadfast to the very end. Never apologizing for what the Bible says.

Saints Help me im in trouble and persecuted and also by some false Christians. I need to find Saints in Scotland or UK. Im bedbound 20-23 hours a day with spine damage and in pain every day sometimes its really bad and at its worst im on high doses of morphine im still in agony. Thankfully its helping me but i cant keep up this high dose for long. family and friends from my past life are lost i have been saved about 5 years and been seeking Saints online but there are so so few. Please if anyone knows a Saint in the Uk or a Church let me know. No matter how bad things get God is good. Awsome in power and his love is everlasting. Hes coming soon Repent and trust in Jesus

Good warnings for us to be wary of, thanks! I do however personally recommend and loan out from my collection, some Christian movies, even early "Pure flix". Many movies I will not share because they are just silly or romantic or too worldly with a couple Bible verses thrown in. "Do You Believe?" (2015l Is my favorite outreach movie. Some may object because of the actors wondering if they are Christian but this movie preaches repentance, Hell, true conversion(life change), etc. to the actors also(may be their only exposure to truth), and it's message has more truth in it than MOST pulpits worldwide. Modern stories, like parables, open the door for truth to be presented, not to be abused. Faith still comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Sad what's going on now with Pure Flix, sign of the times. Keep up the good works Bro! ⛪

Welcome back hope you had a blessed trip

I went to a church here in the Albany, NY area that actually provided ear plugs because the music is so loud. I didn't know about these ear plugs and was in pain during the service due to the volume of the music. I thought the smoke machine and light show was a bit unnecessary too. We've not been back. I will say the pastor's sermon included the congregation assisting with the local municipal Halloween celebration. Halloween is no big deal, right? It's just a celebration, and we can help out with it, right? Yeah...no. I don't think so.

That is so true of Methodism today, barely recognisable indeed. Wonder how they would accept a man on horseback now with his Bible under his arm and nothing else. That’s how John Wesley witnessed to people. Stayed in the area I live. Methodism is dead.

I too was indoctrinated that being to truthful would turn people off into knowing Yeshua-Jesus. I, being a blunt person found it difficult to use compromising words. So I speak the truth from God’s Word hoping they will realize we cannot twist truth to our convenience. That’s making a false god of our own choosing. And the almost comical part about it is the interpretation is so simple and obvious and yet I never really saw it for myself before. My question now is, in 58 years of living seems to me like such a simple truth of such importance has never been brought up in any of the churches I have attended for 58 years. Now that is a tragedy. I’m sad about the modern church compromising , making it seeker friendly , it’s about entertainment and taking the peoples money The vibe is so worldly ,,,, one must ask ask,,,, am at church or a night club.? .... What ever happened to the early church? Meeting together, shared with one another , they took turns reading scripture and singing spiritual psalms, everyone had what they needed and it glorified God!

I’m in a small independent Baptist Church and we have a couple not married living together that comes to the church. I address the Pastor and he said oh they are going to get married. I said something like that’s what they keep saying but I have been coming for year now. That was like beginning of this year. Found out recently now they are engaged and will be married soon. So so sad when Pastor side step telling the truth.

I returned to my childhood church a while back. Back in the day it was a small independent baptist church. Today it is much larger now and the aim is to become a mega church for a certain region of suburbia. (that is a goal only those on the "inner circle" are aware of) Since I had been a past "''''inner circle" member, that is how I know about the new goals now. To my great sadness, it didnt take me long to discover some disturbing changes. I wanted to become a part of the "outreach ministry". Which I thought was reaching out to the community through food drives, clothing drives and other various things that minister to the hurting. NOT! Turns out, the definition of outreach is promoting fall festival, block parties, community invites to bounce houses and fish frys etc etc Advertising, marketing. Advertised as blended music with a band. The truth being contemporary christian music and an occasional hymn once a month set to contemporary music of course. I enjoy many various types of music however to advertise as blended is totally inaccurate in this case Although, there are members across the spectrum of social classes ie rich middle class poor 95% of any activities require money to participate. ( from $30 for a book for a class or $100 to $300 for a retreat or various pure entertainment based activities w a little bible "finger-foods"'''''''. I am highly grieved. And am considering the question now should I stay or should I go question. The idea of staying only because of wanting to be a light to try to open my sisters and brothers in Christ to wake up. But, then I think, will I be a member for change or would I simply be yet another person to conform. Any prayers for me are much appreciated. Update: (later same day) I went back and listened to this one again. God is promptly answering my above prayer request of the stay/go question above. Woohoo!!!!! What a great God we serve. Thanks for all the prayers.

They hooked my dad and we were all in it for the long haul. I also have cousins who are ensnared into LDS. Oh my!!! They sure do uphold their so called Prophets far more than the name of Jesus which is engraved into their signs.
