To all the hard workers that read this. No matter where you go you are going to have assholes that manipulate the system, gang up against you, in order for you to lose your job. Never run from a job or let a bad boss make you quit your good-paying job. You earned that job outright and it is yours to lose. Show up, show out, double-check your work, and ask your boss to quit if he doesn't want to work with you. Bet he won't. If you were doing excellent work then it just means that your boss is threatening of you. Do even better work and make him even more fear of you. NEVER and I mean NEVER quit unless you have too. Take a deep breath each day, show up, and do great work and collect the check for as long as you can. Now if you are on your last write up, then yes, find more employment before it is too late. I anit never gonna quit my job because of a fearful manager.

Being passive-aggressive as a supervisor or manager says A LOT about the culture of an organization. Not to mention, it's unprofessional and a major waste of energy.

What about zero feedback and total indifference?

Ignoring emails, removing you from previous job responsibilities.

Every job I've had has always been like this. The worst people are always the ones who are put in poisons over other people that they do not deserve.

Happen to me, they ignored me, easiest job I ever had....Since I'm older, I waited it out until they finally let me go. I got severance pay and unemployment...now I can look more peacefully...

You just shouldn't overlook the red flags that are right in front of you such as when your boss asks you "how long do you plan to work with us?" and also they may shadow your work micromanaging you, pointing out every little minute thing you're doing wrong and/or say you're did a "very poor job." So just know when and where you're not wanted.

Intentionally overwhelming or minimizing and demeaning an employee should be a sueable offense

They keep throwing your mistakes in your face, over and over, and in front of other staff, in a staff meeting.

This is a game of who hates who more; your boss hating you or you hating your job? Bro I'm not quitting. Spite is a powerful motivator. I don't have anything better to do at home if all it takes for you to be pissed off is me being here. That's why you have to be careful who you hire. It's very hard to fire someone legally, it's really easy to hire anybody.

Me Experienced here: Don’t quit your job due to a bad manager. I told my boss I am not quitting, I earned my job out right. HR told you guys that I was the best candidate and HR and Your boss hired me. So he has done everything to get me out the door because he wants friends there. Well, your manager doesn’t own the company and neither do you. That job is yours to lose.

Literally had my manager add a senior leader to our teams chat, and mind you, they both conspired against me getting promoted.

I made my own list based on my experience: 1-If your boss stops talking to you and starts ignoring you. 2-If your boss does not give you anything to do for a long period of time, so you get bored. 3-If everyone is treating you in a weird way or whispering behind your back. 4-If suddently everyone is lauhging and treating you poorly(Bullying you). 5-If the work you're doing is constantly too easy or is not releated to your position. 6-If suddently there is a new guy in the department and he starts asking you questions or asking for help about your position (good one). 7-If there is an event or a meeting and everyone goes and they don't tell you about it. 8-If there is a meeting in ms teams or zoom and nobody gives you the password and ask you why you did not join. 9-If everyone is talking about firing someone. 10-If your boss threatened you with sending an email to human resources about repeated warnings to record them in your files.

Im dealing with every single one of these. No joke. I cant believe it.

Such bosses are the culprit of fucked up corporate culture.

I found your videos today. And so much of this stuff is true. Sometimes all u have to do is be good at your job and that's to much for them. Such a sad 😥 world for people like this. This is why everyone can't and shouldn't be a boss.

Especially the last point: My former boss always gave me projects, but didnt explain shit and just gave neutral instructions so that i had to figure everything out by myself and he just added: „Yeah go ask other ppl they can help.“ Well most of the time THEY ALSO didnt even knew what he was on about. So i managed to finish a project, and then my boss would come up, criticize me for doing it the way i did, telling me how i should have done it. That was the point i knew imma have to leave that shitshow. Shit gotten unbereable.

Yes, he wants me to live. That what my boss did. And I left suddenly. He gives narrative to his superior that I'm the bad person.

Some of these things you described were things I saw from my old job. Got laid off two weeks ago but I know they were doing everything they can to get me to quit so I decided to continue doing minimal work even with how I was treated.

Remain positive. Don't let them force you out. Especially if you are over 50. Or, don't even ask yourself if they don't like you. Assume good intent. Even if you are delusional. Jobs are scarce.

One common trait is they give you very menial and mundane tasks. Such as they have you working in the dirty jobs such as mucking out the toilets/working in the very smelly workplace waste management area.

I absolutely enjoy your approach and authority in this area.

My previous boss did not want me to leave as he was desperate (imo), but did ALL of these things. I left.

Oh man, I think my boss is trying to get rid of me lol… He started to nitpick everything the past month or so. Everything I do, I somehow did it wrong and he’s occasionally snapping at me. He is now sending these emails on how to sort these “problems”. These were not problems at all 2 months ago. It is like I am talking to a different person. Also not really sure to be honest what the issue is and what he needs me to do. I honestly wish they’d just get rid of me. I am going to look for another job

If my boss wants me to leave he better have the balls to tell me what the problem is or straight up fire me. It's not my responsibility to be a mind-reader. That creates a nasty awkward toxic environment. Good workers are getting harder to find .

only my hours were cut, meanwhile everyone else has good hours. That's when I knew something was wrong, time to start looking elsewhere bc I can't survive on this little of hours.

This literally just makes you go into overthinking mode 😅 what would be helpful is giving advice, on what to say to your boss to ACTUALLY know if what you think is true. Everyone’s experiences are different so how fo we know this is the case ? And we aren’t just reading it all wrong

I'm low paid even though I have way more experience and have a level of business savvy that is nonexistent in my department. My coworker says she was 'complementing ' me to the manager so that they would make me the lead on what had been assigned to her, so they did. Yet, my manager hasn't even bothered to put the accounts in my name and still have them listed in the name of my coworker (who is quite frankly inept) even after announcing me as the 'official' lead 6 months ago. I can out think and out perform the majority (and for sure my coworker; she's been here over 20 years seems to take pride her inabilities)......but I'm also 60+ and I think they know I really can't go anywhere else, so they can keep paying me less than the youngsters they hire with zero experience.

The nice thing is that if you step up your game and do all the tasks very fast and within budget and keep on smiling. At the end the will view you differently...... but then I wouls say...... good by my friend.

I work in a warehouse I have a lead that is always singling me out having me work alone has even told me he doesn't want me in his section now that he is on vacation my true boss an assistant manager of the warehouse treats me as if I'm currently in charge of my section gives me updates and information on any changes that might be coming and never once told me he wants me out I also have co workers from other sections asking for me by name to answer any questions they might have or give any advice they need

This has been the same info on six or seven VLOGs.

I laugh at the replacements. They find other full-time jobs so they can't be scheduled full-time once they have been there for two weeks. It's not the employees, it's the owner. They eventually quit.

What about if they laugh at you every time they see you? What about if they give you dirty looks every time they see you? What about if your hours keep on getting reduced? What about if you are blamed for things other coworkers did?

When he doesn’t speak to you for months, that’s usually a sign.

5 years ago, my ex-boss higher-up manager did all he could to get me leave the company. He did all those 6 signs mentioned in this video, plus 2 more: 1. My ex-boss hired 2 (yes, not 1 but 2) middle managers quite quickly to do one job - fire me on his behalf. The 1st one refused to do it because he found nothing wrong with my work performance, so the higher-up manager fired him after only 3 months on the job. The second one knew that he was going to get fired too AFTER he do what the higher-up boss wants, a.k.a. urge me to serve up resignation letter a.s.a.p. 2. When I served the resignation letter eventually, my boss laughed at me triumphantly. Bosses who want you to stay will find ways to make you stay, or at least put on a sad, 'reluctant-to-let-you-go' face of seeing you go. But nope, my ex-boss was joyful instead that I finally succumbed to him. Epilogue: my ex-boss was fired by the managing director of the company too, for messing up a sales contract mainly. 2nd (secret) reason was, my ex-boss brought in his mistress aboard the company, who has no qualifications needed by the company to work there, but she was brought in as compensation for the abortion my ex-boss' baby she carried. My ex-boss left less than a year after I left the company. During that time of his firing, I was busy upgrading a new language skill to complement my usual job requirements, but only this month, will I be putting that new language skills to use in a much bigger & better company I am confirmed entering into.
