My ex (mother of my child, 12 years together 1 1/2 year separated) who left me for "grass is greener", just told me this past Monday that she isn't happy at all. Im out here thinking that she was great because she's not posting anything to social media... I guess not

Your big fan and long-term fan here, Chris. I watched all of your videos. I have a question. I know your audiences are usually the dumpees, so you talk for them mainly. But could you please do a video about how a dumper could get their ex back? I broke up with my ex, and I tried so hard to go back to him. But he rejected me harshly, blocked me on everything, and moved on to another woman. I know I deserved it, but I still want to know how to fix it. Other coaches online don't really cover the dumper part enough. I know you must have some very good insights, and your help would be very much appreciated. Thanks! :)

What causes the desire of independence so much? I am likely a DA, and the guy I was with was probably an anxious. Why would a DA have such a fear of sacrifice of their independence? Is it basically our core wound? I can intellectually see that sacrifice and mortification is a requirement of any relationship, especially one so intimate. Is it because so many DAs are emotionally stunted? Trauma from our childhood has trained us to be cold and distant in intimate relationships?

I am an avoidant, and I think I could answer you. Yes, it's all about childhood wounds. I have a very controlling and manipulative mother, who physical emotional and verbally abused me. So after I grew up, I told myself I will never be controlled and manipulated again. Not by my mother, not by my significant other, not by anyone. So I always look like I want to be by myself, and want people to leave me alone. However, deep down in my heart, I desire intimacy and connection more than anyone else! But I just can't bring myself to do that, and I don't trust people who show that to me. Because I don't want to take any risks to be controlled and manipulated again.

I think the problem is wanting to control to prevent an undesirable outcome to avoid hurt. The solution is to give up control and just go with the flow. Like Bruce Lee says, “Be like water”. Live life in the now. Don’t worry about the future or dwell on the past. Be in the present. Think that life is about the JOURNEY not the destination. Just deal with problems _as_ they arise. Do not put your whole stock into another human being. Know and remember that they, like all of us (humans) are fallible and imperfect. For instance, you don’t *_have_* to remain in an unhealthy relationship. Life is about trial and error. That doesn’t change with relationships. Some of the greatest and most talented people throughout history weren’t just born perfect. They made mistakes. Many of them at that. If you’re in a wrong relationship, you can always move on. You aren’t and don’t have to be bound to that person forever.

I broke up with my boyfriend in early march. He reached out only once because I unfriended him on Facebook and then mistakenly friended him again. He thought my FB was hacked. I have occasionally reached out to him with a couple of questions. We didn't not like each other it was that the relationship was at a standstill. I am more anxious/secure and I believe he may be avoidant. We do not have a same friend group and I have no way of knowing what is going on in his life. I care for him I just dont know how to move forward. Well my ex is older and rarely posted on facebook. So how to tell?

I knew my ex was unhappy when literally every thing I did was mocked, when she down talked me all the time. When I couldn't do anything right. When a normal conversation was met with defence and criticism. I would ask what's wrong, and get met with a silent treatment or screaming to leave her alone. The truth is, she was talking to other men, men that were giving her false fantasy promises. And she was seen by my child from another relationship, with a man at the movies. Which is why she constantly picked fights with my daughter or just never came around. She we was cheating, her anger was an expression from panic n frustration , she wanted me to dump her, I wouldn't. Although she never physically said that. She really wanted to be with this new person. So she did. N when she found out he was a fake. N that there was no coming back to me. She sabotaged me

Sign 5 is interesting... my ex rarely goes on SM, however his GF (the ex he dumped me to go back to) is ALWAYS posting stuff about how loved up they are, and tagging him in. Like I care. I'm blocked everywhere anyway, so can't even see any of it. Rather sad, but shows she's pissing up the wall to claim "Her territory" Insecure much? I've actually had to tell our mutual friends not to talk about it any more because its all fake and I'm just not interested.

My. X always reach me out during no cntcat.. bfor he post tht he is too much hppy and being a fllowr of thise caoch.. it's not effect on me bcause i know it's not always like tht. I use silent and he reach me untill now.. and all the time he always online not like bfor .. now bcause of thise I know all are pretend 🤣 he always view my story. And fllow me evn n TikTok. I'm just wondering. He don't like TikTok or even use. One day i post in story my TikTok dance. And he fllow me 🤣 not reach one month of break up😁
