She just sang 11 songs, and her voice stayed perfect throughout the whole performance. Goddamn, how did I not notice this girl before January 2018? And I’m from Norway
Sometimes the ruthless music industry throws up a real talent... for me this young lady is one of them... I just hope and pray, though I am not "religious", that she survives the dragons of pressure, drugs and alcohol
this girl is amazeballs i seen her performance on glastonbury and i was amazed at how good she was had to check out her acts at different festivals WOW
I think the chords patterns in some of these songs are genius. so unpredictable yet popy. I love how some songs have like... 2 pre choruses and weird structures.
Love her so much been following her for a while now, saw her live couple weeks ago in London - outstanding, already booked tickets for 2018's tour! I'm hooked ✨
agree! so much positivity in London, could feel nothing but good will from the crowd and she seemed to have as much fun as we did! Can't wait for March!
That's exactly who she reminds me of! I could't quite put my finger on it. I just went to Lorde's concert in LA and Sigrid has that same charisma and charm with her personality and stage presence. I'm so excited for her future
She first popped up on my playlist 3 years ago...the Werchter 2018. I was instantly hooked. I really wish she would release Haunted and Go to War, these are the two songs that really grabbed my attention. Can't wait for her new album!!
watching 4 years after this festival and the release of her debut album. now i can say how fantastic and talented she is! and i'm so excited for her new album!!
Couldn't have said it any better. I've watched a ton of her videos recently and the one thing I've noticed is that she's already grown so much in terms of her voice, presence and confidence. You see her back in the day performing and she seems very timid and maybe even overawed by the whole experience. Even her voice seemed to be hushed and drawn in. From that to this is like worlds apart. Obviously, she's grown a lot over the years as a person, the command of her voice and her in her confidence and that is something I love in artists, whose music/voice evolve over the years. And frankly, for me, Sigrid's next steps in her journey in music is going to be one the most exiting things to follow in the music scene. She's just such a breath of fresh air IMO.
Nala 305 that’s ridiculous. Eurovision is a song contest, good singers are always at Eurovision. Francesco Gabbani last year, Dani Im in 2017, Jessica Mauboy and Sara Alto this year...
“We were playing at 1pm, which is not the greatest slot,” she recalls. “And it was the end of the week so I was like, ‘People are going to be shitfaced, hungover. No one’s going to come.’ I told the band: ‘We’re just going to do our job, it’s cool to be here, guys, we actually made it to Roskilde.’ “Then we walk on stage,” she goes on, her jaw theatrically dropping, “and there’s, I don’t know, 7,000 people. It’s like: ‘What. Is. This?’ You read stuff like that online and in interviews, but it’s something different when you see the numbers in person. you can see her reaction at 0:04 lol
Pure joy! Bout the 20th time watching this! 🤣 Seen her in Dublin live bout 3 yrs ago and she was as brilliantly awesome and beautifuly humble as you would expect!! Top 5! But I still come back to this 😀🇮🇪
quite a few were on the eps just before the new album, if they had all gone on the album, then you are denying the new songs they wrote a proper release. as zac said two of this list are still on the album. Theres still a lot of these songs she still plays on tour.
Finally a full concert, thanks so much! Awesome to hear her other songs as well. Any ideas if she has an album out? If so it will be my first album in 10 years I will actually pay for haha.
I'm not aware that there's an album out at the mo, just the "Don't Kill My Vibe" EP. I'm sure there's an album in the works, but no info on that from any source yet.
