not sure if this been mentioned earlier but Sigrid and Aurora are good friends. Im happy to see these young,talented female artists coming up who are down to earth and not taking their clothes off to sell more records. The likes of Sigrid,Aurora,Courtney Hadwin,Grace Vanderwaal,Angelina Jordan and more

I'm glad you reacted to this version of the song. The orchestral arrangement takes and already beautiful song and turns it into something sublime. And her live vocals! As for your lyric comments at the end, I believe that the metaphor, "You're as safe as a mountain, but know that I am dynamite" has to do with the volatility of their relationship. Her lover is the mountain--stable and sturdy and not easily damaged. But she's one of the only things (dynamite) that could destroy them. I think that idea also connects to the other line you referenced, "Not the same destinations / oh, I will stay when you get off the train." Their lives are aligned for now, but she'll inevitably move on and leave him behind, probably because her hectic lifestyle as a musician will keep them apart, and her lover will ultimately be hurt by it.

Wow - I've been hearing about Sigrid, but this is the first time hearing her. Wow, again! Oh - the lady clapping at 6:55. Isn't that the Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit? :) (Only because I saw Aksel Ryykvin's performance in front of royalty and she was there. I would have been clueless otherwise).

Yes that lady is the Crown prinsess Mette Marit Clapping ;) If you want a male Norwegian singer, you should listen to Daniel Kvammen. He sings in Norwegian, but his woice and music is beatiful :)

Only a few seconds in, but the Doom and RTJ vinyl instantly made me respect you more than most people I'd normally see reacting to my guilty pleasure pop music. And then the Big Lebowski reference.. Did we just become best friends?!?

I love Sigrid! She won the BBC «Sound of 2018» like Adele (2008) and Ellie Golding (2010) had done earlier. Her songs and way of singing makes me happy! I listen to Aurora, Angelina and Sigrid from Norway. Just like the other two Norwegian artists she sounds fabulous live! Also, a really interesting irony in this song. The Nobel Prizes were established and endowed by Alfred Nobel, as an act of contrition for his invention of dynamite, which he deeply regretted later in life.
