SIGRUN vs KING HROLF KRAKI vs GNA - Who is the HARDEST BOSS in God of War & Ragnarok (4K 60FPS) 

Gna and sigrun are both a pain in the ass on GMGOW. Hrolfs moveset is pretty easily read, he’s just beefed up more. If anything the berserker trio is far more challenging

Now, after NG+, King Hrólf has become even more powerful and difficult

Sigrun is definitely the hardest for a variety of reasons - but the main reason is that her move set is the most varied and hardest to read and react to. Second would be berserker king and last is Gna, who I did not find that hard actually. Beat her on my second try, whereas Sigrun took me at least 30 attempts and berserker king took me between 15 - 20 attempts.

Really blows my mind that most people say Sigrun was harder than Gna. I'd rate the Berserker King slightly below Sigrun in terms of difficulty. Probaby took me around 30 tries for each. But Gna straight up whooped my ass for 5 hours, I was numb internally by the time I finally beat her.

Sigrun is the hardest. You have far less to work with in the 2018 game than ragnarok. Things would of been much easier if I had the kings runic summon or the spear or even different rage types.

No one is going to mention how he beat Sigrun with only 4 attacks from the blades? 2 Runics, 1 stabby stabby, and 1 spinny spinny.

I'm currently doing NG+ no mercy for ragnarok. Gna was difficult but I didn't take too too long to beat her. The berserker trios I defeated by getting them all together and realm shifting and killing them with the blades triangle move. I'll see how king Hrolf is later on this week (I don't play everyday). But Sigrun.... I played her on NG+ NORMAL... and what can I say, it took me more than a month on and off trying. She was not only tough. I MIGHT have to give her top 3 hardest bosses ive ever faced in my video game life period. Her moves are just so much. Once I beat her I felt like I conquered the world lol. In fact, the REASON I didn't take too long with Gna Is BECAUSE I fought sigrun so much lmao. Shes the true queen

Sigrun is the hardest. Her moves are so damn hard to predict. We are even lucky Santa Monica didn't give her and the rest of the valkyries bifrost and they didn't give her the ability to summon Draugr like "Kara (Valkyrie in Freya's cave).

My God!! 😲😲 Well done on all 3 fights. Personally for me, Gna drove me the most insane and I still haven't fought her or Hrolf Kraki on Give me God of War.

I finished 100%ing NG+ on GMGOW in Ragnarok, and I can definitively say that Gna's NG+ moveset is the singular most infuriating thing in the game. I haven't had that much trouble since I did the same with Sigrun in NG+ in GoW 2018. King Hrolf isn't too bad, even in NG+. I had a lot more trouble with Svipdagr the Cold and the Sisters of Illska than I did with him.

Honestly gna will be easiest for players who've played 2018 gow cuz theyve taken like what 20+ tries to beat he. berserker king is a little too predictable but th3 3 berserker fight is wild imo

Its a strange case for me tbh most people its king hrolf but to me its gna-king hrolf- sigrun GNA- is way to annoying in ng+ she constantly applies hyperarmor to herself and sometimes when you overattack she suddenly does the flying stomp BS move but has a significantly less moveset than sigrun she is the most tricky for me King hrolf=he is slow you could overattack sometimes without punishment his attacks are easily telegraphed and parried in ngplus GMGOW Sigrun= is hard because of its large arrawy of movesets from the previous valks you have faced and its a bit tricky but 2018 battle mechanics is more cheesy in way that is why i put her last there is not hyperatatus in this game that means that runic attacks would always stun the enemies you could abuse this with the sindri set and in 2018 runic attack cooldowns are siginificantly lower compared to ragnarok you could spam hels touch in every 10 seconds if you find yourself in sticky situation or go full blast ancient of the frost which is so shit now in ragnarok but in 2018 could literally take 1 in a half bars sigrun and 3 bars to the weaker valks in gmgow pretty insane 😊

My list,from hardest to easiest: 1.sigrun 2.gna 3.berserker trio 4.berserker duo 5.king hrolf

1. Gna 2. Kraki 3. Sigrun. Played on GMNM. Honestly Gna broke me like nothing before. Although I would reverse the order if i were ranking in terms of quality. I dont think Gna is as well done as SIgrun. Felt a lot of the stuff she pulls is cheap as hell. Some of her more aggressive moves were cheap i feel especially her spin attack at least for me always seemed to come out of nowhere.

Imo, I think the reason why people liked the Valkyries more over the Berserkers is not only in terms of the difficulty but lore-wise. In the 2018 game, the Valkyries had deep background in the story wherein they are obligated to taking care of the souls going to either helheim or valhalla as well as the mysteries you will slowly discover by beating them 1 by 1 on how they were corrupted and sealed in the hidden chambers, Nifleheim and Muspelheim. In Ragnarok, no deep lores or histories were provided to the berserkers outside of Mimir's deep hatred for them due to them overthrowing the king of Lejre (which Mimir once became an inhabitant) and King Hrolf taking the throne. In each victory, you will just slowly learn the reason on why Mimir hated them which is only mildly interesting as a lore point and does not affect the overall story of the game unlike in the valkyries. As to difficulties, each battle in the Give me God of War difficulty of the members of both groups gives you small instructions or practice to prepare you for the upcoming final Valkyrie (Sigrun) orBerserker (King Hrolf). As to their differences, the Valkyries are so much faster, had deadly grabs, and gives you less time to react between their moves while the Berserkers can teleport in a large area which can confuse you if you do not react fast. But in this path to the final boss, the berserkers have this advantage for me due to having more difficult battles in the form of the Berserker who can summon creeps (no lightning bow in Ragnarok to help us), the Berserker Duo and the Berserker Trio which are so much harder than any Valkyrie battles in the 2018 game sans Sigrun. In the final bosses, the Valkyrie Queen takes the cake over the Berserker King because of one aspect...Combinations. Even though the Valkyries that you faced prior to Sigrun gave you hints to how she will fight, you will still find yourself unprepared and surprised considering her tendencies to make combos mixing up Valkyrie attacks and the few openings she gives you to attack. In order to defeat her, you either will have to watch battles in youtube or by actual experience memorizing her movesets and combos and making counters for it which will require you considerable time and practice to do. In King Hrolf's case, although he has much more Health than Sigrun and can even increase it by adding an elemental armor in certain instances during the battle, he does not have the deadly combinations the Valkyrie Queen uses AND you have access to the much superior Wrath Spartan Rage. His movesets are a bunch of random one type attacks that are the same ones used by the other 12 berserkers which which can easily be read and countered due to being slower than Sigrun's attacks and gives you a lot more opening than her. However, the reward you get from Hrolf is so much better and the best relic in the game. Hrolf's GMGOW counterpart is not that much harder also even if the added perks in his attakcs since they are just minor for me and just adjusts your strategy against him to be more defensive and less greedy. As for Gna? I never found her that hard compared to the two (even in GMGOW or NG+) considering that you already have the relic that you get from Hrolf which makes the fight a cakewalk compared to the Valkyrie Queen and the Berserker King. Although she has some deadly combos, you can easily adjust to them since most of them are similar to Sigrun's which if muscle memory serves, you can easily adapt.

I beat her on hardest and i know it's not that hard in the grand scheme of things, but MAN did she destroy me. It's like when you finish a show : you're finally done but you were so used to it you didn't want it to end .

I think for first playthough, people would probably feel that the King is harder as you don't have Skofnung and he has some armours and unpredictable attacks at the end which is why he feels harder. Also the speedruns on the King are longer and harder than Gna. Sigrun obviously destroys everyone as she needs patience to be defeated, not armour for first playthrough.

The hardest boss in all of 2018 and ragnarok was the king, He was relentless and spammed unblockable attacks, He made me lose sanity.

Gna is probably the hardest boss fight I've ever fought.... In all my years of gaming... King hrolf was hard too but nothing compared to Gna....

In all seriousness, I found Gna the toughest. She has the most unique and unpredictable moveset and while she’s isnt as tanky and you’ll have more to work with/prepare for, you’ll need it cause she can knock you out in two hits easy. Sigrun was one hell of a time and I understand why people think she’s harder. Luckily the other Valkyries helped me learn her moveset and I was able to learn how to counter most of her moves. I didn’t have that luxury with Gna and had to learn all her lives while dealing with Bifrost. Lastly Hrolf due to the same reasons as Sigrun but he was slower and yeah, I did find the trio harder but he was still hard nonetheless.

What armor and enchantments did you use for sigrun time stop every dodge is crazy.

NG+ GNA gave me the most trouble

The triple berserker's are the hardest, no question.

No joke the only way I beat her was with the time stone socket it’s a great addition to the axe it will buy you time to get her health down quicker.

I see a lot of GNA downplay I fail to see how the Berserker King is on the same level as her in Ragnarok As in my first playthrough I got absolutely demolished by GNA and took me about 4+ hours straight to beat her after finally managing to defeat her I went against the Berserker King which I will admit you he was hard boss and easily the second hardest however my initial thoughts going against the Berserker King thinking I'm about to go against the toughest boss nope complete opposite still challenging but not on the same plateau as GNA instead I was disappointed as it took me half the time compared to GNA to defeat and I'm not even talking about New Game Plus as i got destroyed by GNA in a matter of seconds on the second hardest difficulty since I'll think will be impossible for me if it was give me God of War

For my experience it took me 6 hours to beat sigrun i quit for three months because of gna and came back and killed her in 4 hours and i beat king hrolf in 3 tries

I tried to go away from gna but missclicked and pressed square and cross knstea dof just cross and freya hitted gna while i went down ledge and i was out of rrach and afger wbile gna used "for asgard and jumped in lava and was sitting duck. So gba most easy of 3😅

I think we will still see the King Beowulf and Siegfried/Sigurd in the future having connection with the dragons that released in the 1st game Enter more news Valkyries to the game and their realm And also others Creatures like: the Kraken Which may or may not be Durlin's baby octopus and maybe he will appear in the future as another creature,The mysterious Wolf Horodviltnir and the wild boar from Freyr Gullinbursti and also from Valhalla Saehrimnir + Thor's Goats and Odin's Horse I really want to see these Creatures and others Gods and Kings of this Mythology that have not yet been explored Just like Valhalla and the realm of the Valkyries were never shown only mentioned Who out there also thinks about this And what will still happen ? 🤔🙏🥺 like and Bye!

To me, I feel like Sigrun was. She took me months until I added the infinity gauntlet. Although, with ADHD, whenever I'm close, I often mess up eventually. By logic, I'd think Gna though. I close to beating king in NG+, then I'll go for Gna after I finish muspelheim or during.

Guy, what type of move should we identify for the close ranged slashes, triple stab and the searing core thingy? Since the description said ‘pauses momentarily to switches stance after any Blades of Chaos move then press R1 (or R2 I dunno).

I found at normal (cause i played only the 2018 at difficult or gmgow difficulty) sigrun was the hardest of all 3 i soent less time on king hrolf and gna combined then i did on sigrun back in the day, and beating her at difficult was a true struggle, now i m trying to beat her at gmgow but it is impossible.

Sorry Sigrun took me 50+ tries, Gna was not even a tenth of that… haven’t tried Hrolf yet but soon.

Sigrun is not that hard in contrast .Now Gna ... she is hard based on absolutely bullshit merits , specifically having attacks that have two variants , one impossible to block and another impossible to dodge , both impossible to predict .So you have to take hits .
