Thank you for reacting to beloved band Jónsi sings in icelandic and sometimes in a made up language vonlenska which fits the music and the voice becomes an instrument. Popplsgið is one of those. A few songs are sung in english. The ð is pronounced as th in the in english so popplagith. I have seen them live 8 times and wull be sering them again in november with a philharmonic orchester. They have been touring all over the world for the last two years. Nothing compares to Sigur Rós as a band and seeing them live is a remarkable experience. Their soundscape is huge. I recommend all of their discographi Their untitled album aldo called the brackett album is a masterpiece. Phonetically it would be pronounced Seegoor Ros (long "o" sound for Ros. I believe they roll the "R" slightly)

Starting with what is probably their hardest song is a vibe hah. But the whole untitled album has an atmosphere like this. They do have a lot of awesome post rock/art rock stuff. Check out their albums Agaetis Byrjun and Takk. Two of the best albums I have ever heard. If you just want to have a few more songs to react to: Saeglopur, Untitled 1, Gong, Kveikur, Ny Batteri and Festival. Just to name a few. I definitely recommend the full album experiences though.
