I found that no other live version has that part.. this is special and unique, maybe because it's hard for him to reach that note frequently or maybe they just don't like it.. regardless I love it!
Yeah that note is very hard to reach, even for men with a higher register. And it doesn't get easier with age sadly. Makes me appreciate this version a lot
I can't believe I was there. I can tell the video doesn't capture the atmosphere created by the lights and the rain effect. It was truly magical. In my opinion, one of the best songs of that gig.
I remember being at one of their gigs in wolverhampton in 2013, they played this song, i never noticed it before but that night this song really stood out, it moved me to tears, and its now one of my fav sigur ros tracks ever, shame i was in the toilet when they started playing this one at the Nottingham capitol arena lol

James Howitt they played this song at Electric Castle Festival last summer and exactly when the drum kicked in it started raining.. Like pouring rain. It gave me the chills.
