I listen to Satyricon for the same reason I listen to any other metal band,wither it’s black metal or any other type is that they are unique in that I love their music but they are uniquely Satyricon not some copy of any other black metal band...great new album I don’t dislike any of their albums in fact they always give my ears the candy they desire!
What Satyr is speaking of with Munch's art is like spell casting. Intention and will put into and idea or intent. Also in my opinion when he speaks of the artist leaving his work out in the rain and elements he is almost adding power from the elements into his work. Satyr is very intelligent and has his reasons for everything he does. I also have questions about the date of release on this album Sept 22. The day before Sep 23rd revelation 12 prophecy. Some believe it to be the day of Jesus return or actually the anti- christ. Im just curious. 😊
Decent interviewer but one can tell Satyr doesn’t want to have a back and forth conversation. He seems annoyed when the interviewer interjects. I love this new album because it is so different sounding. Especially the drums. They sound so natural not all clicky and drum machine sounding.
